Welcome back inod! You sound like you had a great time. Fantastic news on the weight loss. To come back from hols with an actual weight loss rather than a gain is no mean achievement in my book. Positivity as well on the mortgage front. Way to go!

  • How sad is this. I'm excited about it being mortgage quarter end tomorrow so I can see how much my op have reduced the interest charge. Anyhow, a day of bits and pieces though oh did a dinner plan for this week and I visited lidl to get fruit, veg and other essentials such as bacon. I also tackled some work stuff to give myself a head start for tomorrow. Today I am grateful for

  • did anyone else see the interest rate forecasts on the BBC website. 2.5% in 2017 and possibly settling long term at 5%. while it's a long way from the rates of the early 90s, that size of an increase scares me. so today was NSD but not brilliant food wise. i resisted the birthday buns in the office but then had a few random sweets. also, due to someone not advising me that a meeting was cancelled before I made the journey, lunch was at my desk so no real exercise done. I did however update my sig as I'm pleased to note that since the start of the year my quarterly mortgage interest charge has reduced by £10.72. i also made the OP relating to my M&S voucher but TT to £9.30.

I didn't see that INOD but it's scary indeed. I'll have a hunt for that. Glad I fixed by mortgage and am overpaying, it was probably you that inspired me now I think about it.

Hooray on the interest reduction :T

Well, I'm not sure now. I was just about to catch up on your thread when I thought I saw a post about you reading the meter so I thought I'll quickly go and read mine before catching up.

But you are right, I must have been having a funny 5 mins. :rotfl:However meter read and it was only £17.79 for last month and my account is £92 in credit. I should be switching to Dalligas soon so will be a refund :)

Feeling rather tired tonight after a very long first day. :o
