Two days down, two to go. Had a tricky client email some stuff through late on yesterday for a conference call this morning so am about to fire up the PC and work through it now. Have a client meeting at ten close to home and then a leaving lunch for my problem staff member who finishes on Friday. Apart from that, it's a pre Easter clear up. Since Thursday when sick sis was hospitalised with breathing difficulties, there have been a stream of visits and panic dashes. She has pneumonia and her mnd is now affecting her lungs. They are now talking in terms of days if not hours. DS got in Friday morning and he and dd went to hospital Friday evening where, after visiting, they kindly spent 2 hours looking after my nephew to head off his meltdown. They can both be aggravating but at least they come through when needs be.
Today is both Easter and my birthday. On one hand, I hope, for purely selfish reasons, that nothing happens today. At the same time, I don't want sis to have to struggle on for any longer as it is clearly taking its toll. One positive is that Canadian sis has just arrived in. At least she'll manage to have her goodbyes. I am so sorry INOD. So truly sorry. It is the hardest thing in life this time, watching those you love and being unable to alleviate their pain. Please know I am sending you love and you are in my prayers. I know if you are reading this that might seem trite and silly and I wish I could offer you more. There are not words, stupid human language is inadequate.
