Well facial was nice, they threw in a mini manicure and the tea was ridiculously weak with the tiniest little bits and pieces to eat. Still, we got our afternoon away from the office and put the world to rights. Then came home and slumped. Did manage to do a few bits and bobs on line and today have requested payout from in box £s so that will be heading to the mortgage.
Another busy day today dealing with an investigation then working in dublin tomorrow morning with OH so I will at least have pleasant company on the way. Roll on the weekend.

So, dd emailed to confirm DS has arrived with her in us. They will be holidaying together for two weeks taking in ny, Toronto, Chicago, etc. despite dd having done 10 summers working out there, this is the first time DS has gone out to see her. I'm so grateful that they are so close that they choose to spend time together.
As for me, not sure I did anything at all of worth today. We have decided that this week will be top up shops only as I'm working away with an overnight stay, we are out one night and the rest of the time we will eat out of the freezer.
Tomorrow we are going to see the man from uncle courtesy of groupon purchased tickets via tcb. I'll be able to park at the office so no outlay there. I also hope I get my a$$ into gear.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Confession time. Today I got a letter confirming my referral to the community psychiatric team. I feel like such a failure. Other people cope so much better with a lot more. This comes on top of having bad blood sugar readings which, while expected, weren't anticipated on being so high. The worst thing is that I know what needs done, the logic just doesn't seem to translate into action and I feel like I'm running out of time. I'm sorry for such a self indulgent post but don't feel it's fair to offload on anyone in RL.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. You are not a failure INOD. Needing some support if you are struggling to cope is not failing. Sending hugs x
Ps enjoy the cinema today.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
You are intelligent, resourceful, and always put yourself out to give good advice and help to others on here. You are the absolute opposite of a failure. You have achieved so much at work and at home and as well as a successful career have a supportive husband and wonderful children. Your mortgage is heading south in quick border too.
Perhaps like other women who don't give ourselves credit for our achievements there can be a tendency to self sabotage? With diabetes and weight control generally?
I hope the counselling is helpful and you find a way to make the best use of it.
Sorry if that's a bit preachy.
From an admirer.

I second what Misstara and Verbatim said.
It can be hard to ask for help, and you're doing it before things get worse, and that's great.
Hope it all goes well for you.If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
INOD, it takes great strength and courage to seek out help, don't feel like a failure, you're far from it. Take a bow and stand tall and proud.Pay attention to the fine print, It is far more important than the selling price0
