  • Today I kondoed the towels, rolled the ones to keep and now have a lovely bottom shelf in my hot press. Had dinner from the fridge and freezer and today is an NSD. OH was so industrious and got 5 more things onto ebay while I got rid of bits and pieces. I folded one complete set of king size bedding that fitted comfortably into a pillowcase. It's definitely the way to go. The full bedding sort out will wait til Easter week when I'm off. I think it's likely that the kondo thing will take me the full six months but it's on the right tracks. The weird thing is that I keep spotting things to be sorted and or disposed off that have always been there. Today it was various unused greetings cards in close proximity to an empty storage box. Really? How have I been missing that? The other plus is that I need tables to be kept clear to facilitate folding. That should help me deal with one of my bug bears. Anyhow, hopefully everyone had a good day. I am grateful for
A wonderful result in the rugby
Some winnings from the bookies to go towards the mortgage

  • I know what you mean about suddenly noticing stuff and going well duh.

    I do that a LOT.

and loathe recycling. I know it is great for the environment. I do it. I just resent every tiny sorting minute of it ;)

  • Well Ireland's ladies did us proud today though a minuscule crowd. I got a work task cleared once and for all and had coffee with a friend. Three hours later we went home with free scones from the coffee shop as it was closing. Apart from that, it was a day of laundry, cleaning kitchen, etc. all fairly routine stuff. OH got last of the stuff on ebay and one of the relisted items sold, the other will be sent to the charity shop. Have a fairly full week ahead so am gonna get some ZZZZzzzzs.

  • Today is day 1 of my four in a row days this week. I've a 90 mile round trip to my first meeting but,for a change, I'm feeling on top of things and am determined to make this week count. Checked my current account last week and things are still ok so £15 odds went to the mortgage. Need to update my sig. Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start.

  • Day 2 of 4 days in a row for me. I will be heading out on site with a new client. Not sure how that will work out but am hoping to be back in the office this afternoon to pick up papers for my dublin day tomorrow. Feeling a bit lethargic but that will hopefully pass. We went for dinner last night courtesy of a living social that was due to expire. While the place was nice, it didn't live up to its PR. Not sure I'd make the 30 mile round trip again but it was worth the price of the voucher. Anyhow, today will get me half way through my working week. So yay!
