  • No win on the rugby but five out of the seven ebay items sold. Four for 99p each but they will still be out of the house and will hopefully give joy to others. Two unsolds are currently re listed. Things are starting to come together work wise and tomorrow is a bank holiday that we work so hopefully a concerted effort and lots can be put to bed. Had a bit of a tummy bug at the weekend but it seems to have cleared. Am now off to roll my towels and put them away. Ordered some new luggage at the weekend as it was needed, was reduced and had soon to expire vouchers. Next thing to be tackled is the old luggage. Think that may require at least one run to the dump. Today I am grateful for

  • Bad me, sat and watched trash tv instead of sorting out towels. It's so easy to veg. It's st Patrick's day and I have to work. Boo. My poor daughter has a full shift to do in a city centre pub. That will be murder. Gotta get a wiggle on but really can't be ars&d.

Crikey your poor daughter INOD.... hope her patrons are nice, polite and don't cause any damage or riots!!

I used to work in a local restaurant in Nottingham and after the big clash between Forest and their ultimate rivals Derby - depending on the way the game went one side or the other would systematically smash windows all the way down the roads on the way home. It was not fun. Everyone would put their shutters down in the middle of the day and hunker down waiting for them to go.

Thanks for your lovely words on my diary. Hard to think I can be eloquent at 4am and I don't have common sense at the best of times :p unfortunately there just isn't much that I haven't had to deal with in one form or another. What doesn't kill you eh? ;)

Hope work is quiet and you get lots done. I am looking forward to Christmas at work this year as it will be the first one we are open for in 26 years! So our clientele will not be calling and I am hoping to be able to organise myself for the year ahead. Bit ahead of myself there though!! ;) xx

  • Today was my alleged non working day. I did however do about 4 hours from home. I also did a grocery shop and got lots of whoopsied stuff, did laundry, made soup to use up veggies, made dinner, went to dentist, ran dd to work, collected oh from work and cleaned the fridge. Am shattered but a site visit due tomorrow cancelled which helps the rest of the week. Today I am grateful for

  • Big big TGIF. Still have a few pressing things to get done but things are finally moving in the right direction. Nearly all the 31st March year end stuff is out the door and next week will be spent running between meetings to discuss it but things are picking up and fingers crossed I'll get Easter week off without too many disruptions.
Money wise, as I had to nip home at lunchtime yesterday, I managed an NSD. So, I owe the mortgage op £1. Am a bit head in the sand this week about my current account as I had a dental bill on Wednesday and a haircut and colour on tues and I used my debit card for both. That's another job for the weekend. The 2 things that didn't sell on the auction site were relisted and one has a 99p bid. If no interest in the other, it's on it's way to the charity shop. Anyhow, gotta get into gear. Happy Friday everyone.

  • :T:T WELL DONE IRELAND :T:T

6 Nations Champions again, and thoroughly deserved - well played throughout :D

I think that the game of rugby was the overall winner today - thankfully no serious injuries (hope Leigh Halfpenny passed his HIA) - and plenty of inventive play with loads of tries - so much better than games won purely on penalty points.

Thanks for the spirited cheering INOD - good to *share* the 6 nations vibe with you :D See y'all for the action at the World Cup? :D
