I'm sure you will lose. The plan definitely works!! There isn't a problem with carbs or big portions. What you need to be really strict on is having at least a third of your food as superfrees. You have quite a lot in there but beware of beans, peas and sweetcorn. They are free and you can eat them but you need a third SF on top of that.

thanks maman, i think i may have slipped up by not having 1/3 superfree every meal, some may have only been 1/4 super free. Must try harder next week!

Lost 3lb, was hoping for more tbh as first week but onward and upward. Today I made a sw egg fried rice, was really nice and very filling.

Still feeling really motivated and although I am usually dreadful at meal planning, I am actually doing well (for me). Have various meals batch cooked in freezer but frozen HM soup is becoming a work godsend.

Would really like to lose 10lbs in January. My end goal is 4 stone but theoretically its 5.

EVeryone in the house on board, husband also lost 3lb this week.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, Maman. Yes, my family does get fed a SW meal usually. I won't give up the lunches out, though. I had a mastectomy 4 years ago and it made me rethink my life and how important friends are. They supported me so much. I gave up work, a very time consuming job with no work/life balance - I was almost at retirement age anyway - and reintroduced people into my life. They are scattered around the country and not connected to each other, so meeting up isn't just a coffee sort of thing nor a lets all meet together. Because of this I don't mind a slow weight loss. But to be honest I must take more responsibility and eradicate all the bad habits I've been allowing to creep back in. Starting on Tuesday!
    Keep harrassing me!

  • Hi, could I join the fun please? I really want to try and do it without going to a class to save on cash. I have been reading this thread and feel motivated to give it a good go. Would like to lose a stone by April...or sooner. I will start on Monday as I am going out for a three course meal tomorrow ( I will choose sensibly).
Really find it interesting reading everyone's daily plans......lots of great ideas.

    Thank you. x

Also thank you to those of you who gave me lunch ideas, Ive save them all in my new little notebook :D

Today hasn't been a very good day, I've tried as hard as I can to stick to the plan, but think I've been a bi carb heavy.

B: Full english with low fat sausages
L : Nando's - Butterfly chicken, spicy rice and corn on the cob and some of their frozen yoghurt, OK, maybe a bit more than some! ;)
D: SW Big Mac in a bowl and a muller light and raspberries for desert.

Bit low on the 1/3 SF today, feeling bad. I feel like the last few days have been like that and I'd be suprised if I see a loss on Thursday - need to real reign it back over the next few days (even though I haven't gone over my syns!)

    2b xx
