    New Question for the group!

    What's your weight loss inspiration?

I am going to be 50 next year and although I said I didn't want to be fat and forty, I was and still am :o

also this year I have to renew my first aid certificate for work and 3 years ago I struggled to get down on the floor to give CPR and sit on my knees and then get up again, I was so embarrassed and vowed to do something about my weight and here I am again :o

Oh and this may sound really weird and awful to you but I am so scared I will be in an accident or need to go to hospital and they won't be able to lift me like you see on tv (I am 22 stone) I even have nightmares about that :o:(

And there are the health issues ofcourse, the diabetes, the circulations problems, the heart attack, the stroke, all those scare the living daylights out of me.

    Enough is enough

but now I have just been invited to go out with my pal into town for a coffee and something to eat, !!!!!!. I find that so hard to make good choices when I am out with someone and then feel I have blown the whole day. Wish me luck.

    Have a great day everyone.

I need to find my willpower reserves..

Definitely going to try those pizza toasts, Mich they looked amazing, thanks for sharing the pic. I love seeing people's pictures of their food

Right I'm away to have a cup of tea and read my SW magazine!

I will lose lbs, I will lose lbs, I will lose lbs!

  • 'Good luck!' Mumoftwo

Just popping on to give all the garlic lovers a tip.
Crush a clove or 2 into tuna mayo. Just had it on jacket potato & it is lush.

I find reading the mags & watching programmes on the subject inspirational too Shala. It's a good way to keep me on the straight & narrow for a few hours at least :)
  • Lovely day here! Yoghurt and fruit for brekkie. Soup made for lunch. Another good start... How you all doing? Are evenings everyone's crunch times?
    2014 reach my best.
  • Not had much time to post, but just catch up and it seems like everyone is doing really well!

At my first weigh in for 3 weeks I have stayed exactly the same! So chuffed as I only halfheartedly stuck to the plan for most of that.

    So the plan for today:

    Breakfast: banana and muller light
Lunch: baked beans on toast (HEXB) raspberries and some sweetener
    Snack: satsumas
Dinner: home made shepherds pie with cheese on top (HEXA) and broccoli and carrots on the side. Pineapple and natural yogurt
DVD night Snack: SW Chips and some mayo and possibly some extra cheese

Morning all, well for 2b week 1 WI -.8lb might have been better if I hadn't had fish n chips the other night :o but we'd been to Mums flat to do stuff and got back late.
Still struggling emotionally but glad I went back to work, kids defiantly take your mind off things.
Just like to say well done to everyone for keeping the faith whether you gain or lose :A

Fav food would have to be a full roast and drink would be milk (not that I drink much of anything :o )
Inspiration for weight loss would have been not to be fat and 40, which I wasn't :T but then gained 1.5st with meds . So 2nd time around was just to get back to target which I did. Now it's just trying to keep there which I think is harder
Thank you for all your support, have realised there are some really kind people in this world and most are on here :A:A
