Forgot to comment - food I couldn't do without...cheese...any kind! I find it really hard not to go to the fridge and just cut off a big hunk of it!! And warm crusty bread with lashings of butter! And drink...white wine...cold, crisp and dry (*weeps!!* - all the things I'm not having right now lol!!)

But you are allowed! Just in moderation. I know many of us find it better to just cut out certain foods but don't deprive yourself, have some syns!
Debating having a few gins & soda water tonight but have work tomorrow so... Hmmmmm?!
    Menu looks like this today
Hea milk in tea & coffee
Breakfast- Alpen cereal bar. Ski yogurt.
Dinner- 6 ryvita. 2egg mayo. Scrapping of marg.
Tea- spag Bol. Wholegrain spelt spaghetti (is this pasta free??) Will add mushrooms & a handful of frozen peas.
    Gin?!!

This looks very low on SFs for an EE day. Potentially just mushrooms and any other veg in your spag bol. Sorry can't answer about the spaghetti. I find the SW sitte keeps jamming, probably my computer playing up.

Fell off the wagon. Had some bad news. Ate large deep crust pepperoni pizza, cheesecake and cream. Feel really bad but needed comfort food :(

[QUOTE=Skint_Catt;64328160This is what I need to watch out for when I'm working again - half day at work - rushing to collect DD from childcare - home maybe after doing a few errands - realise it's too late for lunch - grab crap/LOTS of bread/syns while I wait for DH to come home & have dinner after DD gone to bed

Need to mealplan very carefully now - don't know how working moms do it  :eek:/QUOTE]

Definitely meal planning is really useful, I don't know how I'd stick to SW if I didn't plan.

It would be really worthwhile investing in a slow cooker if you haven't already got one, when you go back to work. You can just bung everything in in the morning and have a lovely stew, bolognaise sauce or curry etc ready for when you get home and just have to do some sort of carb - potatoes, pasta or rice - to go with it.

Definitely agree denise. When I worked ft I found that meal planning and writing a shopping list to match saved me huge amounts of my very valuable time, made me very focussed in my whizz around the supermarket. It's also very mse as You only buy what you really need. Same during the week, when I got home from work I knew exactly what I needed to cook and what to prepare/defrost for the next day. So no time wasted dithering. Maybe that's why I've found it relatively easy to move to SW plan.

I agree re planning, but maintain my two plans a week keeps it fresh. Also allows for whoopsie bargains etc.

Thanks to whoever put the Pete's minimins thread link up. I definitely didn't go mad printing off recipes for my scrapbook today... :naughty: :money:
  • Hello lovelies:wave:

I too am an advocate of meal planning, I'm a single mum working full time. I also cook double of things that are freezable so that I've got a healthy ready meal waiting for those nights when I just can't be a***d to cook ( we all have them:D) Saves unplanned stops at takeaways too, so good for your waistline and your pocket!

    Todays menu
B weetabix with milk (hea & heb) melon and pineapple
    snack Banana
L cheese and pasta salad (hea) layered with lettuce and cucumber (dressing 1 syn)
D spinach and sweet potato curry and brown rice. Mullerlight yogurt.

Still got 11 syns remaing, but I don't think I'll need them all today as I've still got a heb to use. So prob finn crisp, cottage cheese and tomato for supper.

The trampoline is put together:j:j:j:j:j It's sooooo much fun but I am going to have to invest in a bra with some industrial scaffolding in:rotfl:

((hugs)) It happens, Im sorry about your bad news. Back on it right now, thought lady! x

    New Question for the group!

    What's your weight loss inspiration?

For me (one of the things) is being able to wear my wedding ring again, will be amazing. I don't even need to be at target, but I had to take it off when I was pregnant and it hasn't fitted back on yet!

The other, is having more babies. I won't start trying for more babies (if we can, and presuming our donor is available) until I am in a healthier weight range. I was overweight and pregnant with DD and it was horrendous. I had bag issues, SPD, and basically lost all mobility about half way through my pregnancy and relied on a wheelchair.

I never take my own mobility for granted now.

My motivation for loosing weight was also to increase my mobility as I have CP and moving around can be challenging.
Also when I was heavier I found it harder to get up when I fall which I do a lot, and it is a bit easier now I am lighter but still challenging :rotfl:
