    Thanks Mich,

Am really really struggling with easy lunch ideas, we're eating lots of the same - pasta salad really. Anybody got any ideas? Ideally something I can share with the baby too ;)

    New Question for the group!

    What's your weight loss inspiration?

A few things really... the main thing that triggered it was going back to work after 7 months off, my uniform being very tight (and my thighs chafing and burning from rubbing together! They always have done a bit but nowhere near as bad as this time) and having to go shopping for jeans and tops that were a 16 after being a 10-12 all my life.

Also, not long after I started SW back in August 2012 (I only do it around 50% of the time hence my slow progress!) I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid which doesn't help with weight, and 6 months ago I was told I have PCOS which again doesn't help with weight! So I need to ensure I don't let myself start piling on the weight again, in order to keep symptoms under control before they get too bad.

Finally, I just didn't feel good at my biggest weight. Hated being in photos, dressing up to go out etc etc. I don't want to be like that!

    :)

Depends if I'm at work or home but today I had spag bol. The following aren't all suitable for baby but just brainstorming for you!

    Mug shots
salad with various toppings (ham, eggs, prawns, chicken, new potatoes, omlette) - i also don't have much lettuce and more of the other stuff to make it a bit more interesting!
pasta and cheese is really simple but serious comfort food
    beans on toast
batchelors savory rice with extra veg fried and thrown in
ryvita and cheese followed by fruit and yoghurt
    sausage sandwich
    fry up
    omelette and waffles and beans
    sausage waffles beans
    bacon sandwich

The other, is having more babies. I won't start trying for more babies (if we can, and presuming our donor is available) until I am in a healthier weight range. I was overweight and pregnant with DD and it was horrendous. I had bag issues, SPD, and basically lost all mobility about half way through my pregnancy and relied on a wheelchair.

I never take my own mobility for granted now.

This is my inspiration aswell been trying a couple of year but had no luck so hopefully if get down to healthy weight might get lucky

Hello all, I have been lurking since Monday but am coming out! :rotfl: thanks to all who have contributed to this thread, it is very friendly, fun and motivating to read!

I weighed in on Monday and was really upset to discover how much I weighed, and even worse how much I need to lose! Shocking. But since Monday I have been on the plan and loving it. I feel determined and committed which should make it easier.

Fingers crossed Monday will bring a loss.

    H xxx :)

Lunch ideas for u n ur dd
    Boiled eggs
    Scrambled eggs
    Poached eggs
    Spaghetti on toast
    Beans on toast
    Ham sandwich (chicken tuna etc)
    Omelette
Basically what you'd of have her pre sw?
My dd often gets a sandwich n ill have a batchelors rice or low fat super noodles? Or she'll have crackers n cheese?

    My thinspiration?
I saw a pic of me last summer on holiday and it clicked in my head I can't be the fat mum when dd starts school? And I knew it was affecting what I did with dd? (Prior to the pic I thought I looked good :/ I blamed my bigger clothes size on shops being a small size :/

I should have been getting married this year n after seeing the pic I decided I wanted to look good on what should have been my wedding?

I'm now slowly becoming the confident mum I want to be (dd n I skipped through asda this week - I would t have done that pre sw lol)

Meal planning - I tend to plan a weeks worth of meals n then move them round if I don't fancy a meal lol. I also batch cook and prepare stuff in advance and freeze? Like spag bol and burgers so I have a quick food option? My back up meal is jacket potato with beans as its quick and easy and although lacking sf its speed n a bowl of fruit can remedy it ;)

    Today's meal plan
    Breakfast - 2 clementines
Lunch - beans n cheese (hexa) apple n clementines
Dinner - jacket potato(1) tuna, mayo (1) onion pepper salad or sweet chilli chicken (0.5) with salad
    Hexa - cheese
    Hexb- ryvita minis
    Syns maybe a dime later

Week 1 WI +1.5 whoops! Must tried harder, it was deserved as hadn't stuck to sw and it was over two weeks including new year!

    Well done to all losers!
  • I ended up going out last night. Stuck to gin & soda water, no nibbles until I crawled in... Ended up making a crisp sandwich :o
Could kick myself at undoing all my weeks good work but am just going to get straight back on it with a yogurt & cereal bar for breakfast, although what I really fancy is a greasy fry up!
Fancy something meaty & tasty for lunch before work this afternoon but nothing too heavy?
    Tea will be spag Bol.
Enjoy your day... The sun is out! :D
