Melon for me! I cut it up in cubes and put in Tupperware... Take it to work, into the living room when watching tv... The lot. I find its sweetness satisfies the sugar craving.. And satsumas. My 6 syn treat is a curly wurly which finishes my day off on a high! Here's hoping as I need to lose 3 lb this week to get back into my SW target zone.

    Morning All,

Re the Tatoo ~ I was VERY upset.
    1. Because Tadpole 1 is a girl Tadpole, not a boy, and that makes me feel even worse some how, I know I know don't even say it, I know :o
    2. Because I made that pretty little Tadpole, and I kept her clean and pretty and 'perfect' and now she's got a mark on her
    3. Because I expressed my opinion that is wasn't an appropriate design to have for the rest of you life (as it's mentioned in a novel about teenage angst)
and 4. Because it's not in an appropriate place!

It's only an inch long, by her wrist, and a little symbol. Quite discreet I guess, bit of a scroll which is fancy and delicate.

She was 'chuffed to nuts'. She said she was really sorry that I didn't want her to have it, but she was really happy. I told her I thought it was very pretty and delicate. He'd done a good job and it suited her. I deserve a bloody medal for that Oscar winning performance

With regard to what I ate last night ~

    Today's food
    B;porridge
    L:kitkat
D:mashed potato, quorn sausages and baked beans

4 mugs and 3 cups tea with milk

    1 small glass Baileys

probaby under on HEs and over on syns. I have a syn book now so I should look it up but dare not.

If that was me I'd have some crackers & cheese in the evening and call it a Green day - don't need to worry so much about the fruit and veg then.

If it was a samll Kitkat (2 fingers) it would be 5.5 syns and 25ml of Baileys is 4 syns a 35ml glass is 5.5 so certainly not over on Syns, even if it was a large Kitkat (4 finger) it would only be 11.5 syns (less syns if you eat 2 x 2 finger kitkats, LOL!) so only just over.

Ff fromage Frais... I rarely find this whe I want it but on the odd occasion I do find it it only comes in 500g tubs which means I end up throwing most out :(

I try to arrange meals over a few days which involve FF to avoid wasting too much of it! Don't think I've ever managed to use a whole tub. I do wish they would do a smaller tub - 100g would be good because that's usually enough for most meals and you could easily buy more than one if you know you need more.

Maybe we should all contact our local SMs and suggest a smaller tub would be far more useful and wasteful.

Have just finished sorting out what I'm going to eat today. Yet another EE day as DH wanted a curry this week and I definitely can't eat a curry without rice - I know I could do a veg curry but DH isn't keen so I'm doing a turkey one (was going to do chicken but much more expensive than the turkey and once in a curry don't think it'll make much difference to taste!)

B - porridge (HEB) made with water; Mullerlight Banana & Custard, banana
L - Crabstick salad with fat free dressing
D - Turkey curry & rice - vaguely following the recipe in this months mag

HEA will be milk in tea as usual.

No syns planned yet but probably a glass or two of red as it's Friday.

Not sure whether I'll be able to get on tomorrow as have the family visiting for a late "Christmas" (because we were away over Christmas and New Year so this is the first weekend back), so a rough idea of meals for tomorrow.

Will definitely be an EE day as will be doing a traditional roast dinner, with chicken & pork - need to do both as some only eat one or the other - but most will eat both!

Have got a James Martin terrine which needs using up so will get that out of the freezer as a starter with WM bread (for me & DD2) and white bread for the others.

DD2 has requested 1/2 syn roulade for pud so will need to make that first thing tomorrow morning before they arrive.

DH & I will probably have a mushroom omlette for breakfast and we'll have Spicy Red Pepper soup for lunch which just needs reheating. My DD2 and DGS will probably also be there for lunch so that will use all that up. DGS will probably want a sandwich or something as well - he's a growing lad of 15!

    Denise

    PS Sorry for the essay!
