    Hello all

    May I join you?

I have followed SW on and off for several years but after Christmas this year I have hit my all time top weight and my knees are complaining!!!

    SO

Now is the time that I lose it all once and for all

I have been thinking of my 'danger times' and trying to plan different strategies to stop me from eating LOL

    1. DD has just painted my nails for me so I'm hoping that I'll be more conscious of what I'm doing with my hands (ie NOT snacking)
    2. I have some very low calorie cup a soups to have when I get in from work so I don't snack while I cook tea
    3. I am not buying chocolates (I'm slightly lactose intolerant so they give me an upset tummy anyway)
    4. I'm making my lunch the night before while I cook the tea so I don't snack while I do it
    5. Trying to drink more water
    6. Not going into the staff room too soon so I only just have enough time to eat my lunch and less opportunity/time to nibble biscuits
    7. Making sure that I always take fruit out with me
    8. Paying for my petrol at the pump so I'm not tempted to buy snacks when I'm driving anywhere
    9. Keeping a diary of food and feelings ( I am a comfort eater)
    10.

Just need to think of 1 last one!!! Ten is a nice round number!!

Anyway lost 2lbs so far since Christmas, will stick at it

    :)
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

  • Wow some fabulous losses this week!!

Hugs to anyone that needs them :)

My first day today 100% on plan for a long time! I'm a tiny bit hungry now but I think it's more psychological than actual hunger.

Becks - I love your idea of writing down the non-scale victories each day... I might start doing that!

And anyone that wants to become more positive generally, check out #100happydays via g00gle (not sure what the website is) I started yesterday and it seems like a great way to increase positivity on a daily basis :)

I hate quark but this sounds like it might be ok... I can't bear anything that has yoghurt and gelatine in!

Ff fromage Frais... I rarely find this whe I want it but on the odd occasion I do find it it only comes in 500g tubs which means I end up throwing most out :(

Oh - I just looked on my supermarket. Apparently they only do it in Waitrose and Asda!
