  • oooh and i have different information than this. I have restored my history for an extra £5..(although this was last year so it may have changed)

I only had to pay £10 in the end, this weeks fee and one week that I missed! The most you would ever pay is apparently £14.95... so even if you missed a couple of months it would still be the same price.

WI wasn't pretty tonight but I wasn't expecting it to be.... want to lose at least 9lb before 1st Feb for holiday (will put 1 or 2 back on while on holiday though!)

Ohh - meringue nests definitely now on the list. If you have 2 small, is that 2syns or do they jump up dramatically? Do you pile with fruit, and FF natural yoghurt? Anything else good to try with it?

Am downloading my fitness pal to give it a go :D

    Morning All,

Just a quickie before I start on tadpoles birthday cake (making not eating it). Have just puffed up 18 balloons :j and decorated her arm chair with banners :D she'll be chuffed to nuts when she gets up ;)

Was going to answer a question but I can't remember what it was now :o Oh well, I expect my answer would have been brilliant, like me, but we'll never know now :D

    Have a good day ladies

    xx

Just remembered ~ I record all my food on the PC at the end of the day 2b. I write down as much as I know I'm going to have in the morning, then adjust it if needs be in the eve, then post on here. But I always have a pencil and a bit of paper in my pocket because the kids at school often ask me or tell me something and I need to remind myself to do something, so I write it down. It's a standing joke with my form, because they'll tell me something and then say 'better put that down on your little bit of paper'. So any food goes on there too. Yesterdays note says 'phone Johnny's Mum ~ cherries'. See, told you. Genius.

I also was supposed to be meeting friends for Pizza today, but I just knew I didn't have the willpower to turn down the most amazing pizza in the world (they don't even do anything else, BUT pizza and I didn't have the syns), so I called in sick and stayed home doing housework. Boring maybe, but the house looks lovely now!

What do you do in a situation like that - when you can't avoid food you can't really eat/don't have syns for?

    2b x

If I'm going out for a meal then I will typically have what I want. I will try to make a sensible choice, i.e. I'll try to avoid things with pastry in so no pie option but starter/main/desert/drinks, I'll have it.

I do try to be good the rest of the day so perhaps try and snack on superfree and keep other syns throughout the day to a minimum and I would if possible try to limit social stuff/meals out so that I don't find myself with lots of meals out in the same week ..... If you google suzie burrel 20 simple ways, you should stumble across an article from the daily mail which makes interesting reading particularly point 13. With the slimming world plan, its recommended to stick to 10 syns or less each day but we have the option to flexi syn for those occasions when we might be eating out, so setting a higher syn limit for the day, sticking to it and back on track/back to just 10 syns the following day.

I've got a family planner that I will be using to keep track this year so writing in any diary appointments for me/the OH and then plenty of space to meal plan and write shopping lists. I tend to keep a notebook on me and have used this as an alternative for meal planning although I never stick with it and always seem to change my mind!

Gonna be a long day today for me - woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep and ended up getting up at 4.30am! I need to get up a 5am anyway to run DH to work so that I can have the car to get to Group and do the shopping, maybe why I couldn't get back to sleep I suppose.

DH has decided he's going to do SW properly (apart from WM bread which he can't eat as it upsets him) as he's decided he needs to lose a couple of stone! He's obviously been having SW meals in the evenings but not during the day and also snacking on all the wrong stuff - crisps, biscuits, peanut! He must be serious he chucked half a tub of peanuts away this morning and there are no crisps or biscuits in the house and I won't be buying any either! I won't be putting his meals on here as his breakfast and lunch will usually be different to mine.

    So today it will be:

    B - banana - after WI
L - sausage sandwich with brown sauce; melon & mullerlight
D - turkey curry with rice - will have loads of veg in such as peppers, courgette, carrot, onion, celery and anything else I can find in the fridge, LOL!

Need to buy some more fruit as only have bananas and melon plus frozen raspberries, when I remember them.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - WM bread
Snacks - mullerlight; melon, other fruit after I've been shopping
Syns - extra bread (as large slices) 3; sausages 2; brown sauce 2 = 7 so far; not sure if I'll have anything else

    Denise
