  • Morning all - WI tomorrow so I'm going super strict with lots of S and SS fruit and veg and salad today...I really want a good start!

Well done on all the losses - some amazing results you guys!! :)

I've got a really busy day and evening so don't know how or when I'm going to get tea cooked tonight!! I'll have to see what I can throw together...I'm supposed to be going a run today but really don't see when I can...I'll probably have to do it tomorrow and then my long one on Saturday...I don't like doing them back to back but needs must!
  • HI!

I literally just started SW on Monday with my best friend (who has been before) so thought I would show my face!

Hoping you lovely people can keep me on track and help me stay motivated! Also hoping to pick up some lush recipes (is there a sticky anywhere?) that will also satisfy my very fussy veggie boyfriend!

Starting on Monday was scary - My weight has increased massively over the past year and I'm loving SW already!

Can't quite believe that I can eat this much on a diet!! 2 days in and I had already lost 2lbs  I really thought I would have gained!

    Re writing down food
    - if I'm out n about n likely to forget I use my notes app on my phone ;)
I used to write in a notebook but since I got 3 diaries for Xmas I've swapped to writing in there daily mainly to keep track of syns as I don't want to go over?
So far this week I've been really good on plan have 80 syns for the next 4 days ;)
Food is all planned up :)
Need to do a couple of quick syn searchs later to be able to post my food for today :)

Going to the powder room - Pepsi max makes me go :/ diet coke doesn't buy Pepsi max does :/ and onions onions make me go :/

I need 1/2lb off this week for 3 1/2 stone? I'm not going to get som this month no chance after all the gainers over Xmas had big loses this week so my 2lb is no where near contention of the som challenge :( not even bothered by sow any more - just aiming for the stone and half stone stickers now :)

Have a bday party with dd this month that's just cropped up but its with family who have been following sw but as I'm a secret squirrel I haven't actually announced I'm doing it? So I feel a pair of jeans and a size 16 Tshirt will be worn as I used to be a 22 surely they'll notice?!

Need to decide on lunch but not sure what I fancy really :/

Have had some scan bran as I am in desperate need of going to the powder room(if you get my drift...... )

Satsumas, a couple of chunks of dark chocolate, oats and most veggies make me need the powder room more. Fortunately I'm a regular visitor ;)

Hope all went well with the MRI...

Wow, impressed by your will power - well done! :)

Thank you. Won't get the results of him MRI until next week. He's been vomiting every day (sometimes all day) for over 2 months now, with no diagnosis as yet. Hoping we may get some answers soon now.

Oh and next question - how does everyone record what they are eating? ON an app, old fashioned paper and pen? I'm struggling to find something that works for me!
    x

I use the SW website food diary to log mine, as it's faster generally speaking, and it's quick to check syn values on new things too. I can update it from my phone, laptop and ipad, so find it useful. Failing that, I ask the WI girls at group for a food diary sheet sometimes, and I have photocopied them at home to keep using for a paper version.

Some fab losses still coming in. I'm also struggling to keep up with the thread as it's moving so fast, but I do love all the chatter, so keep it up!

Off out in a moment to visit a friend, but have had an early lunch before I go so that I'm not hungry, and stay on plan. I will only drink tea while I'm out.

Not sure what plan I'm on today, might make it a green day, if so, this is how it'll look:

    Green Day:
B - banana, apple, satsuma, Danio layer passion fruit greek yogurt 1 0.5 syns (absolutely gorgeous, and highly recommend as very filling and thick/creamy)
L - Half a Super Rice (as opposed to eating the lot as usual!), cabbage, leeks & mushrooms.
D - baked spud, beans, cheese HExA2, tomato, cucumber, lettuce. Ketchup 1 syn, dressing 0.5 syn

    HExA1 - milk
HExB1 - Kellogs chewy bar, not sure what else yet.

I was going to have a yogurt after my lunch, but I'm stuffed, so won't bother, and putting it back in the fridge.

Re. the muller banana yogurts, I rather like them, but I like banana flavoured anything pretty much, so don't mind an artificial flavour, but prefer a natural one. They're not that bad.

    Have a good day everyone.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
  • I generally write it in a notebook as I have to try to plan my whole day otherwise I'll go off the rails.

Todays food diary is almost a green day... didn't realise until just now!

    B - weetabix (b), ss milk (a) and a banana
L - lettuce, tomatoes, spring onion, celery, red pepper, cucumber, ham
D - golden savory rice with courgettes and red onions

    Snacks - alpen light x 2 (6), sweet n salt tesco popcorn (3.5)

But wondering now whether it's worth synning my ham? It's only a small amount then I could have alpen light as my second B and have some cheese on the salad too as my second A! Then I could also have a hot chocolate or something later...
