Can I join in please? I'm 48, 5ft3 and 14st 8lb according to the scales this morning. I've done SW before - both in a group, and on my own and it's the best I've done. I've just got complacent and the weight has gone skywards.
BUT - that's all in the past, and I'm hoping to have another go at it along with my BF if I can convince him to try a few more vegetables!! I love all foods, luckily, including all fruit, and most veg (except marrow. That's just yucky).0 -
poohbear59 I bought a set of starter books from eb*y, worked out about the same price as membership and first class, and am finding them very easy to use.
I would like to loose about 1.5 stone, so will be following this thread."When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us" Alexander Graham Bell0 -
Stats for me, I will be 40 next week, eek and 5ft 2in, I started my SW journey in July 2013 weighing 12st 13lb and did get my 2 stone award but put on 2.5lbs over the Christmas week which I was OK with as didn't want to deprive myself so now weigh 11st 1lb with a target of 10st.
Happy new year to you all xOfficially debt free :j0 -

Well thanks to sh***y link my lovely mini trampoline didn't arrive today. Apparently they attempted to deliver but I wasn't here so left a card.
:mad:Round Objects:mad:
I've been in all day specifically waiting for this and I don't know who's door they put the card through but it certainly wasn't mine. Nearly gave in and had cake but I sent Amazon a tersely worded e-mail instead0 -
Hi folks. I would really like to join this thread.
I am an mse die hard, have been for quite a few years now but I joined sw in October as my weight was spiralling out of control and I felt I had no where to turn. At first paying £4.95 a week for someone to tell me things I already know made my teeth curl (I am in debt and always on the dfw board) but as I said I felt as if there was no other option.
I went on the first week with no expectations and my last £10 in my purse and said I would take it a week at a time. By the third Week I had bought my first countdown as of course that's the mse way to do it!
I am on extra easy. I'm finding it great as there is very little weighing and measuring and I can stuff my face with super free.
In October I weighed in at 13st and got down to 12st 3 in the weeks before Xmas. I know I put 4lb on last week but I'm back in control this week and not weighing in til thursday
So I am pleased that there is a combination of me and sw here :TOn a mission0 -
Hi Can I come back on. I got weighed at class today and I have put on 2lbs this week. I now have a stone to get rid of. I am on holiday to tenerife in three weeks so would love to get rid of 7 of these!!!!!! I am 5ft 3in and weigh 10 stone 4 lbs.
My best buy of the year has been the actifry and we have chips about 4 times a week.
Happy New Year and lets get off some of this weight.
I have a great leader and we have a super class. I sit in the corner with about 6 of us and we have such a laugh. xSealed Pot Challenge 1441
