I did my first weigh in today, 5.8lbs off
very happy, considering Xmas day was in the middle of the week.
I think all superfree veg would count, including that in the quiche, but I'm doing green days so am no expert.
I am not organised for work tomorrow or fir new years dinner. Once upon a time I had z rolling five week menu plan (with flexibility built in). I might have to do something like that for slimming world so I don't end up relying on mug shots for lunch...0 -
I think the official line is 1/3 of what you eat should be super free?
So a quiche u may scrape 1/3 super free in it?
I tend to add pickled onions or beetroot to meals as I'm not a lover of salad leaf stuff so get my super free that way?
My train of thought is better to have more super free than not enough ? But someone might know the proper answer xxxStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Could some kind person explain the 1/3 super free rule? I put loads of super free veggies in the quiche, do these count or should I have eaten a salad with it as well?
Only started SW last Fri so still finding my way, people assure me it gets easier:p
I've got 4 skeins of wool to wind this evening, by hand and on my tod so that should keep my fingers out of whats left of the crimbo chocs:D
Weigh all ingredients, then you can work out if you've super free enough in your quiche/whatever or if you need to have a side salad or crudites or something to bump you up. I always make sure I finish my super free first in any meal too as if I leave any over, I want it to just be free.0 -
Hello to you all on this shiny new thread! Good weigh in for me- 2lbs off, Club 10 and Slimmer of the Week for the first time!!! I just have 1lb more to go and then that's my target but I'm going to the local Indian restaurant for a New Years Party tomorrow night so that might go by the wayside a bit haha! I think trying to maintain will be the hard part although I know I need to tone up- my size 18 jeans are huge but trying to buy smart trousers is impossible! Size 18's are tight but the 20's will be too big. I also have size 14, 16 and 18 trackie bottoms all of which are varying degrees of baggy and even the size 14 leggings I've bought are baggy round the knees *The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

:T:T:T Brilliant!!
Stick around and we'll help you maintain but I seriously think you could carry on losing if you want.
cw, all the SF in your frittata count but totally agree with mildredd in that you really can't have too many. (I say that guardedly as I think that's true of veg I think some people have had a problem with too much fruit, probably because of sugar content.) What I do is balance my SFs through the day. I rarely have any with breakfast so I'll have a small snack (banana or Satsuma) mid morning then something like frittata or vegetable soup at lunchtime. For supper I'll have more like half veg on my plate rather than recommended third. This is for EE, for Green you don't need to be so fussy and can eat peas/sweet corn/baked beans although they're not SF.0 -
I feel I have the motivation to lose weight again with SW. DS1 is getting married in April, and I want to be a healthier size by then.
Today I started well but then missed lunch then had a healthy dinner with lots of SF foods. I am going to see if I can find any deals for online membership.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Quick question
How many weeks after birth should I be weighed to start my weight loss journey?
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Bit the bullet and rejoined last night. Managed to get to target last year and maintain for six months and then stopped going and put it all back on and then some. Have really gone for it and bought a 12 week countdown- I'm now committed. 1stone 8.5 to lose!Determined to save and not squander!

I'll commit to posting every day
I may even go and purchase some digital scales so I can stick to it and gauge my loss properly.
I didn't want to have to keep posting on a weight loss thread, because I wanted to have 'cracked it' by now. I wanted to be normal. Fed up with myself for being such a loserFeel totally out of control, and totally freeked out by how quickly it all falls apart and how quickly I feel so low about myself. And then I remember TIE and how I really could have something to be sad about and I feel even more guilty. Stupid Frog
At the end of November I felt brilliant. Why oh why do I do this to myself every year?? You did warn me...
Will post weight in the am, and target, here we go again then guys...
