Thank you for the shiny new thread FE, you are a star :A

Very fed up here, looking at tree and screaming (in my head) 'take it down' so will do that now.
Feeling rough, keep suffering mouth ulcers and mouth is so sore at the moment. Upside not eating carp today.
Plan is to join the next challenge but after the funeral. Just hope I don't do too much damage in the mean time :o

Oh and on the club v home thing, I got to target and stayed here (ish) by going it alone, saying that if I hadn't gone to a club first I wouldn't have the tools to do it alone. Technically we are never alone when we have this thread and all the wonderful people on here :A thank you for keeping me sane :A:A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Found you!
I knew there would be a support group on here. FB pages also good but constant threads on my news feed is hard to follow sometimes.
I'm starting SW on Tuesday evening with a ton of weight to lose.
Looking forward to giving and getting support from you lovely people. Any challenges?

Mildredd - If I can do it you definitely can too. I've another 2 stone to go at least. What height are you? I'm 5.4.

Crafty witch I love an avocado!!

Who's up to committing to regular posting for 2014. I know I will and I will get my target this year :) Woo hoo

Can't believe I will be doing this a year in April and that I've stuck to it.....

Finding it hard to get back on it though at the minute. Need to get back to work as I am totally out of my routine!

Going to Asda soon to get stocked up on some fresh fruit and veg - think I'll make some soup tonight.

Happy to see a new thread and look forward to reading everyones posts this year :)

Tie take the tree down! And try to rest xxx eat what you can that's all anyone can do xxx

    Lantana - I'm 5ft 7 I've set a target of 11stone 1 so 6 stone lighter eep! Nearly 3 stone left to go :) hoping to get it in 2014 :)

The threads are invaluable to me I couldn't do it without having a random rant at weird hours of the night xxx ill commit to posting regularly as it keeps me on track and I can get some meal inspiration :)

I'd been my starting size for pretty much all my adult life - so 13 years of eating what I wanted when I wanted it and not caring? So if I can lose 3 stone 4.5lbs in just over 4 months then anyone can!!!

Currently tidying up the Xmas carnage that Father Christmas brought - had to go buy storage boxes for toys :( oops xxx

    Hello!

New year, new me person here, collected loads of recipes, doing the big SW shop tomorrow and having my last non-SW day for some time then too.

I'm just under 5ft6 and guesstimating 12 stone at the moment.

I will weigh in properly on New Year's Day, my goal weight is 9 1/2 to 10 stone.

I am giving up drinking for the month of January so there will be no  and lots of :j:j:jand :Adays.

I took the tree down, technically it FELL down as I went to move it to get to the plugs and it came apart in my hands. Top part fell and the star hit me on the head, subsequent tears were cleansing though. When hubby got Home I was sitting in the middle of a mess of tree lights trying to unravel them. All put away now though til next year :o

  • Hi all.

I've lost 1stone 6 following SW so far, but want a bit more support at home so thought I would join on here too. Not too keen on the consultant, but I need to be weighed in don't of other people or I get complacent. No other groups close to hand either so no other options.

Really spurred on to do this now. Would like to be at goal by my 30th in November :)
  • Cooked my first SW 'quiche' for tea this evening. I seemed more like a fritata to me but hey-ho it was tasty non the less.:)

Could some kind person explain the 1/3 super free rule? I put loads of super free veggies in the quiche, do these count or should I have eaten a salad with it as well?

Only started SW last Fri so still finding my way, people assure me it gets easier:p

I've got 4 skeins of wool to wind this evening, by hand and on my tod so that should keep my fingers out of whats left of the crimbo chocs:D
