can i ask if anyone knows of any vouchers for free registration to group? I would really like the 2013 pack to check for syn values. If the group is nice i may even start going regularly ( i have moved since last year and there a couple of SW groups nearby)

On their website it says join for free when you buy a 12 week countdown (and you get two weeks free) or you can get half price membership if you pay weekly.
Valid til 25th Jan if that helps0 -
Thing is I don't want to be here any longer. Im bored of everything. And yes I'm already dosed up on antidepressants. And even if I did have enough money to eat healthy I don't have a big enough kitchen to prepare food. Dirty pots are often stacked on the floor. My kitchen side is 1m wide. We are a family of 4.
It sounds like you need to revisit your GP & ask him/her for further help. I'm on anti-depressants too & I think if my pots were on the floor I'd be asking anyone for help. I know how much motivation fails when you're low, but you can be helped hun & things will feel better. xx0 -

Found some potatoes, white cabbage& garlic so decided to make a soup. Threw some frozen cauliflower & broccoli florets & half a red chilli in. It was really nice for brunch! Followed it with a toffee muller light . Am I on the right track? I made it with a chicken stock cube but had no onion so didn't need to fry anything off, so no fat. Would this count as all free?
Could I asked how many syns are in a bar of oat so simple morning bars? I brought a couple of packs at the beginning of the year just to get off to a good start & as an easy snack on my work break but not sure if I should keep them for next week or let the kids at them?!
?
Hello Mrs Christmas (what a great name)
What plan are you following? From what you have mentioned the soup sounds good.
The oat so simple bars will have a syn value attached to them. Just had a quick google and i would guesstimate at around 7-8 syns per bar. I dont have access to the syns online site though so i am not 100% certain.
Good luck at group

I am sorry to read that you are feeling so down. It sounds like you need to visit your GP to ask for more help.Just take one step at a time- at the moment the first step (in my humble opinion) is that you need to fix yourself and get yourself back to the point where you can cope. Do you have any family who could offer you extra support? What about your OH? Please try to get to a doctor for help.

I joined in 2011 weighing 21 stone and 5 foot 6. I lost 4 stone. People used to say I bet you feel great. I felt no happier or different or healthier. I've put it all back on. My mum and sister want me to rejoin but I cant afford it or the expensive food. (I aim for a quid a meal).
I really think I cant be bothered and I don't feel unhealthy or overweight.
If that's how you feel it's probably not the "right" time for you. If, in the future, you do decide to rejoin it doesn't have to be expensive, particularly if you stick to mainly vegetarian food - beans, pulses etc.

Oat So Simple bars are 6.5 or 7 syns depending on flavour. Alpen Lights are a better bet(3 syns each or 2 as a Healthy Extra B choice xx
i just spotted your post catt. I answered too.
