Hi can I join going to start the weds after I do big shop Tuesday.

Weighed myself yesterday and got the shock of my life, to embarrassed to put my weight on here but have over 10st to lose does anyone else have around that amount? It just seems like a impossible task but u suppose I didn't get to this size overnight so won't loose it overnight.

Does anyone have a underactive thyroid? Does this make any diffrence to weight loss

Is this years book much different from last years found that in a drawer but was thinking of joining online so can check syns and he's x

Hi Joanne, I've just joined and have 148lbs to lose so I'm going to be around for a while :) I also have an under active thyroid and PCOS and find it usually slows my weight loss but I will keep chipping away. I started on Thursday so not sure how I will do in my first week! I joined online - there is a code in an earlier post think it is COOP150...it gives you money off the gold membership...:)
I am also unable to exercise this time round like I have done previously when on SW...so will be slow and steady for me - hope to increase it gradually though! :) xx
    Started SW at home 03/01/2014....
    Valentines day challenge 14lb off

Just checked Syns online and it depends on whether it's a 32g serving from a jar or a 32g sachet!

    If from a jar it's 5.5 syns; if a sachet it's 6 syns.

No idea why there is a difference - doesn't make sense to me

I will be doing the raffle for our group until we get a new consultant & for those of you who go to group - what type of things would you want to see in the raffle? Ingredients for a recipe? (No diary or meat though!) stacks of fruit & veg? Jelly & moulds? Scales? Etc

We have good raffle prizes in our class. These are a few examples:-

2 x small boxes Dorset cereal with Dairy free milk

A picnic set with plastic bowls and plates with 2 bottles of NAS cordial (this was during the summer)

A veg box with a recipe using the ingredients

Options hot choc with a couple boxes of Hi-Fi bars

Small chopping boards that fold up so it is easier to put veggies in pan

Tin/packet hamper with savoury rice, beans etc
    Officially debt free :j

MrsM my LO (Rebecca) is 14 weeks! I can't believe your Charlie is 21months! (Where has time gone?) I'm exclusively breast feeding at the moment so will get extra healthy extras - 4 in total I think - great as I'm in love with milk & cheese at the moment!

Wish me luck for starting weigh in tonight! Hoping I'm less than when I originally started in Oct 09

One of the best raffle prizes I got was all the ingredients for a tomato and red pepper soup (including the recipe) Its one of my favourite soups to make and had I not won the raffle that evening I would be none the wiser! A lot more interesting than a bowl of fruit in my opinion. HTH

i'm going to get on my treadmill tomorrow.. might be fun to do the body magic challenges on the SW site.. the first one is to walk around central park, 6.1 miles.. might be an incentive as it gets boring otherwise ;)

Weigh in tonight and it wasn't pretty .

    5'6, 15st 4.5 :o.

At least it's one pound lighter than when I last joined :rotfl:.

We'll forget about the +3 stone I managed to lose .

Feeling inspired. Large wholewheat pasta, bean & veg salad made and quality controlled (oops, pardon me :o).

Gone with 2 friends, pictures and measurements taken.

I like knowing I will never be this heavy again :T.
