Iantanna – thank you – that gives me a boost! I think I need to be12.7-13.0 to be a size 14 in all shops – I think I would be OK with that as I felt really happy and healthy at a 14. When is the wedding? My one is 27th June so gives me 6 months, and I know that time will fly by. If I can lose just 1lb a week I would be 12.5 stone which would be amazing – I think that is doable!
Are you all doing exercise as well?
Hi ya,
The wedding is mid July. I want over two stone off by then. Scared to think how many weeks that it is. But actually I should probably look as it might give me a good kick up the bum!
In normally walk for 40 mins at a good pace at least 3 times a week but this has fallen to the wayside the last few weeks with the weather. I am now starting on the exercise dvds - managed half of one last night lol - well its a start! Will try and do the whole way through tonight.
Trust me if I can do it so can you - I am the biggest comfort eater and I still have treats and allow myself at least one meal totally off a week. You'll surprise yourself if you stick at it!
Sorry for the delay, I only get on a PC during the week and can't type with my fat fingers lol on an iphone!
Thank you, I feel a bit thinner now! My work trousers that were tight at the start are now loose! I think I would like 2 stone by mine so that's not long!! Doesn't work out as too many lbs a week though so it's manageable I hope!

Anyone know about chia seeds...we normally take a couple of teaspoons a day for health (and regularity!!) I don't know the values of them.
all i know about chia seeds is that they are the "superfood" of the year. I suspect they will have a syn value attached as they are seeds - although it maybe worth checking to see if you can have them as a HEX B as i think that some seeds are available to have as a healthy extra (dont quote me on that though):D

Amazelucy - I really want at least two stone for June. As you say shouldn't be too bad. I've sort of averaged out now at 7 lbs - 10 lbs a month, apart from December lol for obvious reasons.
Mildredd I know - most peculiar - think I'll have cheesy chips with Linda McCartney sausages and salad with some egg mayo on the side!
Trying to give bread a miss this week as I feel better when I don't have it - so ignoring those cravings!0 -

I have decided that i am going to be partaking in 2 diets/plans - SW being the main plan and the 5:2 plan (although i will be doing just one day rather than 2). Today has been the first day on the 5:2 (or 5:1 as it will be for me :T) and its not been half as bad as i expected :j:T.
I hope you mean 6:1 unless you're having a day with nothing at all!;)gingerfurball wrote: »I've changed my mind about dinner - DH is having pasta as he has a big swim tonight...the kids are having take out so I'll make a veggie curry and rice for me...silly question - do I have to fill my plate with more veggies are are the ones in the curry enough (a whole cauliflower, some carrots, onions, green beans and red lentils) and some rice
(Well done Mildredd!!)
Your curry sounds like almost 100% SF to me so even with the rice and lentils you'll have plenty.
I will be doing the raffle for our group until we get a new consultant & for those of you who go to group - what type of things would you want to see in the raffle? Ingredients for a recipe? (No diary or meat though!) stacks of fruit & veg? Jelly & moulds? Scales? Etc
Nothing inventive in the raffle at my group. Consultant just gets a local greengrocer (who also has a stall at class) to make up two boxes of fruit and veg. I like your ideas but scales might be expensive, suppose depends how popular the raffle is and how big group. If you did a box of longlife free stuff then anything that didn't suit the winner could be re-gifted in Slimmer of the Week. Good luck with WI. You are so sensible getting back so soon after baby.:)
I looked up chia seeds: 5 syns for 25g and they aren't on the HEB list.0 -
Our raffle is sometimes store cupboard essentials like stock pots/smash?
Or the ingredients for a mushy pea curry?
More often than not its a book
Or today's was soup cups?
I pay for raffle I've won it once - I got a bag of store cupboard essentials but don't use most of itlike smash seriously :@
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
Still feeling grim and not at all hungry. I've had a couple of bananas and forced myself to have a cheese (HEA) salad at tea.
If I feel hungry before bed I'll have a couple of poached eggs on toast I think.
Raffle at our group seems to be 3 prizes, basket of veg, basket of salad and basket of fruit. I think this is brilliant because it's all stuff you'd use anyway on SW.
Still not feeling well enough to put the trampoline together, although did make it to work this morning for a few hours so some body magic there.
Early night for me tonight in the hopes that I feel more human tomorrow, I really don't want to miss pilates AGAIN :mad:0 -
Evening!
First day back at work today which involves approx 2 miles of walking as well as just generally being more active than I am at home, until I start marathon training anyway!
First time I've seen my boss in almost a month due to our holidays overlapping and she greeted me with "You look like you've lost weight" which is always nice, probably untrue, but I have been SW for 6 days now so you never know...
Breakfast - Poached egg and beans on HEXB toast with melon slices
Dinner - Huge bowl of salad with some turkey breast chunks and a sliced boiled egg and a packet of sour cream snackajacks (I think they're 5 syns?)
Snack - More melon and some satsumas
Tea - Superfart soup with SW chips, followed by muller greek style lemon yoghurt (think this is 0.5?)
Supper - HM mackerel pate with carrots and celery (approx 1 syn)
HEXA - Milk in tea through the day and an options hot chocolate before bed (1.5-2 syns)
At Top Boy's request, I'm going to make that minced beef hash again and let it slow cook overnight for teas tomorrow and Wed0 -
Have been on plan most of the day which is a good start for me.
Am trying to up my fruit & veg.
I have deceided to use up a lot of the stuff in my freezer so will see how that goes.

Yes, they are half a syn each. Do you freeze them to have them like ice cream? About an hour 15 to an hour and a half in the freezer is optimum consistency. The toffee ones are delish too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
