mrs lady Valentines Challenge 9lb please

I've had 4 good SW days and feel in that special 'zone' where you look back and can't believe how much you used to eat. I wish I could bottle this feeling and use it all year. I've dug out all the SW books I've got and I have ones from 2005, 2009, 2012 . . . . !!

Have had scrambly eggs (in Frylight) and 2 slices of wholemeal (small loaf) for breakfast. Planning Leftover spag bol for lunch, and then will go out shopping for some chicken to have with new potatoes and veg for tea. I'm really lucky (in some ways) that I live in a city centre where M&S, Tesco and Waitrose are within 5 minutes walk. Which is fine until you get the late night munchies!!

Shala great to see you back too :A I think it's a great idea to mix and match diets. Why not? When I go back to school next week I'm sticking to SW like I have done since 1st Jan, but I'm also doing 5;2. I'll eat less on Tue and Fri, although still SW foods. I did it in October and November and was losing 3lb a week. And it was easy.

Thanks for this - was feeling a bit of a dope for keep changing my mind!! At least now i get more variety :rotfl:

I use MFP just to see what I'm eating and it's sometimes a bit of an eye opener when you see the breakdown of fat/sugar/carb, etc so I try to keep SW and those figs in mind...

I use MFP too to track and i'm shocked at my salt intake some days! Yesterday I had two pieces of ham and it was over half of my daily intake!!

    Have a good day xx

Quick post: I'm taking my time getting back into control of plan. The mse in me wants to use up some freezer food.

Today's a sort of Green day (CBA to push up the SFs:o but I'll have plenty tomorrow) but with an off-plan meal tonight. I'm not going to even look up the syns. While I don't have a target yet, it'll be small as I just need to keep in my target range.

B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: Sainsbury's chicken (HEB) jalfrezi with SW chips and maybe a few bhajis/samosas/mango chutney

[QUOTE=mandwhy;64252224I am quite sensitive, can't handle too much lactose so I have soya milk but I can eat cheese in moderation, and yoghurt. I am actually having a go at wheat free as well at the moment to see if that makes a difference, as my friend told me that would fit in with slimming world quite well (my trip to sainsburys yesterday was a true test of resolve but I did get some gluten free bread rolls). I don't eat loads of meat as I find it hard to digest especially things like mince but chicken is usually ok. Anything greasy or oily is not good but I'm assuming that's fine!! I often have linda macartney sausages and the like although this has now presented a gluten problem :-/
I think I may go to one meeting to get some books etc but I am poor so probably online mostly. Also I don't see any benefit in group weighing personally, although maybe I'll change my mind!

    I weigh about 15st at the moment :-( I am 5'11 so about a size 18. I think 2 stone is a reasonable target for now :-)[/QUOTE]

I buy Real Foods Corn Thins, they are gluten free and you can have 5 as a healthy extra B. They taste like a cross between popcorn and a rice cake. I like them with either cheese spread, houmous or use them instead of bread and dip them in soup.

If you are going to join a group then the woman magazine had a voucher in saving you £10 joining fee so you would only have to pay £4.95 for your first week, hopefully this voucher is still available.
    Officially debt free :j
