    Hello again.

Wow Scotsman4th, that's consistent weight loss. Well done.

For me its 1lb off this week and I'm delighted with that after my disastrous few days. That's 6lbs of the 7lbs I was aiming for (with the caveat that it'd be unlikely). There are a couple more days, so maybe by Friday I'll lose that last 1lb.
I'm up for another challenge too, lantanna. I'll be away with the whole family from 5th - 12th April, but dates don't matter as I want to keep on track as far as possible.

Thanks 2b, for keeping that chart running.

    Review of Tuesday's plan

Breakfast - hexb muesli with hexa milk and apple
Lunch - baked potato, egg & cress (light mayo 1 syn), tomatoes, salad spring onion, beetroot, banana
Dinner - chilli con carne, with peppers and mushrooms and rice and fruit salad (mango and strawberries)
Snacks - SF caramel treat 4.5, chocolate digestive 3, shortbread finger 5

    Today's total 13.5 syns

    Plan for Wednesday

Breakfast - banana & ML yogurt
Lunch - out with friend EEK!
Dinner - sticky ginger beef and noodles, yogurt & satsumas

    Night all.

I'm on the bus home and I have an absolutely screaming headache with it all. :( however my tutor is lovely and I think once I calm down I might be ok :D

I expect it's a stress headache but pleased it went well.:)

lantanna, I think I started to believe I was back to my slim self when I bought new, tight fitting clothes. I started SW when I was pushing a size 18 and didn't really buy anything new until I was a 14. Up until then I was heartened that things were baggy but that was all. Now I'm in a small 12 or a 10 in some brands.:D

I made a frittata while I was cooking supper tonight. I love the stuff and have made frequent trips to the fridge all evening. Only a tiny bit left! But it's totally syn free and full of SFs so much better than crisps!

I'm hoping to STS this week but could afford a small gain and still meet target. Definitely on plan tomorrow and we'll see what Thursday's WI brings.

I'm up for the next challenge, whenever it starts.:A
  • I've still not 'officially' started as not yet got all my books and plans sorted out, so I am still just avoiding all chocolate, cakes and the like for now and bulking out my meal portions with side salads etc and breaking some bad habits and so far going ok.

Not helped however by OH ordering me chocolate covered ginger cookies with the shopping yesterday, but they remain unopened and I have resisted them tonight!

I've just finished my two long days at work, got home about half hour ago and it's this time of night I get really hungry and usually eat loads before I go to bed. I'm still wide awake from my shift as I can't relax on the tube and train home. I don't know if I use comfort food as a way to wind down at the end of the day? Whatever it is I need to find a strategy to overcome that!

Well done on starting the plan before you even get the books.

With regard to the chocolate ginger cookies I'd give them to DH for his lunchbox! That's what I do when DH picks up off plan foods that are too high in syns. Although I do eat some stuff off plan and then pull back later in the week - but only if I really want something! Wouldn't waste syns on something I wasn't bothered about.

I suggest that you have something ready to just bung in the microwave when you get in from work or have something like a ready made salad and ham, chicken drumsticks etc in the fridge which you can just grab.

Another useful thing to have in the fridge is a fritatta or quiche full of SuperFree foods which you can just keep going back too if you get the munchies.

    HTH.

Another EE day for me today:

B - magic porridge with Mullerlight banana custard and sliced banana
L - LO prawn stirfry. If there's not enough I've also got some crabsticks and a mixed salad made up in the fridge.
D - Big Mac in a bowl - haven't got any Thousand Island dressing so going to use 1 Tbs of Lighter than Light Mayo (0.5) with a squirt of tomato puree to colour it! Will top with 12.5g of reduced fat cheddar (2)

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge
Syns - cheese 2; LTL mayo 0.5. Will probably have a fruit split lolly this evening 3.

Not sure I'll get on line tomorrow as at a funeral (so no WI either but will weigh at home to make sure I'm on track).

Eating will be difficult around lunchtime so will make sure we have a SW fry up before leaving.

Dinner will be tuna pasta with salad on the side as want something quick as not sure what time we'll be home.

Not sure what syns I'll have but they'll certainly be a drink in the pub after the funeral.

I hope not to have put on more than 2lb in tomorrows weigh in but it's likely to be 3 :( bad me!

Shockingly i've only put on 0.5lb :T although i know in my own head that i always weigh less on this week in the month so a bit of a false reading but i'll take it!

Just had an add up of my week's syns and have only had 73.5 (although may have another 3 to add for today) - what a difference it makes when you don't have as much alcohol as usual!

Mildredd - lol What did the major binge consist of? I bet it wasn’t that bad at all! With your not eating that much I think you’ll find it doesn’t affect you this week. How are you feeling now anyway?

Mrs Ryan – Oooh (impressed) lots of reading then - lovely. That will certainly keep you busy – good for you J !

Helendavekids – Thanks, think I will mix it up as well and get use of the classes as well. I’m aiming for 4 times a week in some capacity! I want to try Kettlebells as heard really good reports about them. Must not let myself get into the mentality of I can eat more treats now as going to the gym!!

Sary – lol did you hold onto your roof last night? You do make me laugh chum xx

Pleaseletmebelucky – 8lbs is very good!! That’s on average around 1.5 lb a week which is great. My SW Chart has my average loss per week at that and when you think I’ve lost 4 stone 12 lbs - you can see it all adds up – so chin up, your doing fab xx I haven’t met my challenge either so don’t feel alone, but we are still losing J and here trying! Your personal targets just for fun, its up to you what you set and whether or not it is easily achievable or a little more challenging is up to you. No judgement from others. I just love the honesty, bravery and support that we all show for each other on here! Slow and steady losses are great for keeping the weight off so don’t be downhearted J Personally I think 8lbs is fab J

Shala – lol sorry!!! So it won’t be handbags at dawn over who does the chart then?? Easter weekend is Monday 17th April.

    Snow here too - yuck!
So looks like an early start to the Challenge then on the 3RD of March – Can’t wait!!!

So yes went to the Gym last night – although I have to admit I sat in the car for 5 mins before hand doing the whole will I or wont I thing lol – I’m a terrible wee girl at times lol. But I made it in and was fine. Not sure if the instructor had something up or what was going on – but I had booked my induction a few days ago and when I got there the membership lady tried to put me off having the induction last night 3 times even thought I was standing there in my new kit blatantly ready– saying things like there is only 1 machine free - but when I got in there - there was 3 people in the whole place.
The instructor spent 5 mins with me showing me how to operate the machines - cardio only! I have had other inductions before and this was a total sham!! He says after two weeks “someone” will show me how to do the weights and do a programme for me! Anyway won’t take it personally - but very slack and very bad in terms of health & safety. Its as well I knew how to use the machines from before! So the plan is now to get back on Friday night and do a good hour before my slob out time in front of the tv!
Sadly Superfree did not feature at all in my diet yesterday and today not much better either!

B: Muller Light, Mandarin & Kiwi
    L: 2 X Nimble & Beans
    D : Who knows !!
I was up half the night with a throbbing gum and feel wretched so it will be a miracle if I eat anything at all today!! So drained and white as a sheet. Fairly bloated due to lack of superfrees too – not at all hopeful for thurs as also star week L

Have just wacked two heavy duty painkillers in and hoping for the best!!
Ah well onwards and upwards – gym mission completed xx

I'd be the same - I'd prob have about 10 syns if it wasn't for the weekend alcohol lol
