Have just renewed my Gym membership (council run) and as the girls swim, got it for £214 for year (did Daves as well so eekk on cc for £428) which works out at £3.97 a week, which is less than the cost of a class. Have decided for both MFW and Fab not Fat challenge, that need to up my attendance.
Spinning was sweaty and my bum hurt but was good. Music tonight for girls so will nip to gym for 45 mins.
Nipped to aldi and now fruit bowls teaming, also bought fat free greek style yogurt which is FREEEE...

]Beanie good restraint on the biscuits?
Where they easy to resist ones like garibaldi or a good biccie?;) cxx
Ooh, I do love a nice garibaldi biscuit, and had forgotten about them..... until now
Well i'm really fed up today and trying deparately not to stuff my facetried for an early night last night but between OH snoring and the cat annoying me I only managed a few hours. I'm so tired and I have raging PMT! Get your violins out...
I've definitely put on this week too (WI tomorrow) so i'm having the internal arguement "well i may as well eat nice things today as i've put on anyway and then i'll start again tomorrow" anyone else have that...
I've already had a cadburys finger, choc digestive and one starburst.. (i know thats not loads but it's a slippery slope!!)
signed, fed up and frumpy x
Dear Fed Up And Frumpy,
Step away from the chocolate goods!Actually, I think most of us can relate to that thought process. You know the 'right' thing to do is damage limitation, but the 'naughty' gremlin is screaming 'go for it, all is lost anyway, so you might as well just dive in face first!' :rotfl:
Anyway, slip on some snow chains, to help you regain control on that slippery slope, and we're here if you need to rant more.
Well I forgot to post yesterday. Having another child (albeit adult) back in the house, and here all day is a tad distracting. I've also been really enjoying watching the winter olympics, although struggling to comprehend how Sochi can host it with temperatures warmer than here in the UK?!
Yesterday's plan was like this: EE
B - Porridge
L - Savoury rice with Mixed baked beans, satsuma, apple, Low Low cheese toastie slice 2 syns,
Snack - Danio cherry yogurt 1.5 syns
D - Roast chicken, sw potatoes, leeks, carrots, green beans, peas, broccoli, hm yorkshires x 2 = 8 syns, gravy 1 syn
Supper - Highlight hot chocolate 2 syns
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Total syns = 14.5
.... and today's plan is going to be something like this : EE
B - Danio yogurt 0.5 syn, kiwi fruit (yeuch! really sharp), apple
L - Savoury rice, mushrooms, cabbage, leeks, Low Low mature slice 3 syns
D - Mince, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, passata, pasta sheets. Will make a HM white sauce using a water/ss milk mix, and will syn my portion at about 4, as I don't go overboard with it anyway, and tend to only sprinkle some parmesan on top. Will have with side salad of: lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes & pickled onions.
Supper - Highlight Hot Choc 2 syns
HEA - milk
HEA - kelloggs bar
Total syns = 8.5
Well done on the losses coming in, and stick with it if you've had a STS, as I have found having one of those, after a 'good' week, it tends to show on the scales a day or two later, so it will come good.
Trixietoes, I remember you from the thread before. I disappeared and came back again too. Good to see you again, and your losses look great! Wish mine were that good. I rejoined back in November, and have yet to lose my first stoneHave resigned myself to having to take the scenic route this time around, despite being fully on plan most of the time. I don't think being a bit older has helped me one bit. Ho-hum.
Talking of those MIA, such as Frogga and Catt.... where's the lovely MrsMc?
Hope life isn't getting too much in the way for all of you. My OH is being whisked abroad by his best mate this Thursday, at very short notice, because the friend needs to get away to get over his wife leaving himand has asked if my OH will be his shoulder to cry on. OH also gives very good advice, and is a good listener, but I'm really going to miss him, and he's already said he's not looking forward to going, and doesn't want to leave me. Honestly, we're like a couple of love-sick teenagers, you wouldn't think we'd been together all these years. Determined to stick with the plan while he's away, and not mope. Maybe try to spin it around, and see it as an opportunity to really put in some extra effort and lose a super amount instead! You may need to remind me of this come the weekend
Right, well I'm off to make another cuppa. Stick with it y'all. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Aw Sary, he'll be away for Valentines Day too! You will have to be very focussed not to either comfort eat or cheat because there is no one there to see it! Or is that just me who would do that
:rotfl:.
I weigh in tonight for my last week of the Valentines challenge. Sat at 7lbs off so hoping for a decent loss to get a bit closer to target. About 7lbs would do.
We also decided to do an Easter weight loss challenge in class last week with "Do you want to be a hot chick or egg shaped this Easter?" as the tittle! Would love to join the challenge on here as well if it goes ahead.
Hope everyone is having a good day XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Lantana, I got to the gym 3 times per week. I'm a size 16 ish and there are lots of people both smaller and a lot larger than me that go. Personally I have major respect for anyone who goes to the gym whatever they look like and I hope others feel the same. Please don't worry what anyone else thinks, everyone that is there started somewhere! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Folks,
Just having a look at dates here.
What are your thoughts on starting the challenge on Week commencing Monday 3rd March as first wi??
That would give us 7 weeks for the challenge finishing on Easter Sunday 19th
What do you think? Or would people rather start a week earlier on week commencing on Monday 24th Feb finishing on 13th of April? I know some people end up going away for Easter.
What are your thoughts? I love the challenge and have decided I am going to kick !!! on the next one! Will be getting close to target - so exciting!:eek:0 -
