seems like a lot of good advice about re what is eaten in a typical day, so hope you don't mind, this is mine for today

B Porridge (28g plain standard oats) (HEB) with skimmed milk
L HM Veg soup, small tub of chopped fruit (kiwi, pear, apple) and yogurt (syning at 2.5)
Snack (1) Snap peas / sweetcorn (raw)
T Chicken, onions, mushrooms with fajita seasoning (frylite), 1x plain white tortilla (191 cals so syning at 9.5) with salad
Snack (2) Pineapple (1/2 tin with juice, but didn't have juice) yogurt (2.5)

Tend to wander between HM soup or salad for work time lunch. I love ice cream so yogurt seems a good compromise. I often have frozen berries as my fruit for work (with yogurt).
I save syns Fri / sat for my rum.

I have been not measuring milk but using both my HEA. Porridge every morning is my HEB, my second is normally teatime but today was in a hurry so had Tortilla which thought should syn?

My main / most common syns are gravy, 3 chunks of choc (5 syns) and yogurt.

I work in an area where there is a constant supply of chocolate / biscuits / sweets which I am managing currently to avoid.

Been trying to "try" something different most weeks, last night had SW meatloaf which was dead tasty.

Bit confused (so easy these days :o) are you doing EE? If so it's only 1 HEA & 1 HEB. Apart from the chicken your menu could be green in which case it IS 2 of each HEs. If there's a reason for 2 of each on EE and I've missed it just ignore me :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks Mildredd, every day I find a "healthy" becomes a "naughty". First my Alpen porridge (still traumatised by its loss) then my major oopps of cashew nuts and now pineapple in tins, fortunately a one off at back of cupboard so I'll stay away from that aisle! Onward and upward...

    HDK x

PS googled and 1 syn per ring, had 4..:(:(:(:(

Have never done a group so very much read it and try and follow... (so don't always get the terms and I then try and google)
Was aiming for Red, as chicken, but was thinking veg soup free, salad free and tortilla syn'd. Wouldn't normally miss a HEB (ever) but had very short gap from getting home hence was a quick tea, needing to take birthday present to MIL and go to Zumba.

    Thanks HDK x

    Well done GG!!

  • Have had a facebook message that tomorrow`s Bella will have a free joining voucher but don`t know how long it is valid for.
  • Hello everyone.

I have joined you all before way back in 2010 and then came off the plan and slowly put all my weight back on as I have moved around a bit since and had no inclination to think about being healthy. I am now settled for the foreseeable so I think I'd like to rejoin you lovely ladies if you'll have me?!? I need you to help me stay on the straight and narrow!

I live by the beach in Sydney and feel self conscious ALL the time, I don't go in the sea as much as I'd like (despite everyone being called back in to shore the other day due to a shark sighting :eek::eek: ) so I NEED to do something for myself.

I have been doing SW since 6 Jan and joined the gym 3wks ago

I am feeling a little despondent though.:(:(

I go to the gym 5 or 6 times a week and either Swim, Spin or a Tabata class and a Pilates class. I for once in my life am working really hard in the gym.... my weight losses are very erratic.

I am a member of SW online and this is my losses (and gains) table

    06/01/2014 14 st 0 lbs - 3 ½ lbs
    13/01/2014 13 st 12 ½ lbs - 5 lbs
    20/01/2014 13 st 10 lbs - 7 ½ lbs
    27/01/2014 13 st 13 ½ lbs - 4 lbs
    03/02/2014 13 st 9 ½ lbs - 8 lbs

My weigh in today is 13st 10.5lb so a lb on.

I need to be honest with this week (only) - I fell off plan from Fri - Sun so that explains the increase I suppose, but I swear I didn't eat choc, cakes, crisps or anything like that :):) If anything I ate too much bread and not enough veggies and fruit.

Has anyone else the same up and downs? Others who are exercising how are you finding it with your weightloss?

I have a holiday in Thailand on 29th March too ... so that is my mini target. I'd like to have lost 1 stone by then - 6.5 wks - does that sound realistic?!?

Thanks ladies, I know I have gone on a bit xxxx

Hello again, well done losers! Keep on track all you others - it will work out in the end.

Anyway, here's my review of Monday's Plan
Breakfast - spaghetti on toast plain white bread, guessing 6 syns, ouch!
Lunch - mug shot, WW pear & apple crumbleyogurt, grapes
Dinner - mushroom risotto with mixed veg and hexa parmesan, apple & WW yogurt rhubarb crumble flavour, yum
Snacks - Alpen light bar (3 syns), shortbread round (5 syns) and 2 x Belvita Breakfast fruit & fibre biscuits, which I am counting as my hexb - please, please let this be so!

Total (if I get away with my hexb) = 14 syns

WI tomorrow, so hope I've not done too much damage this week.

    Tuesday's plan

Breakfast - hexb muesli with hexa milk and fruit, probably apple
Lunch - baked potato, egg & cress (light mayo 1 syn), tomatoes, spring onion, beetroot, banana
Dinner - chilli con carne, with peppers and mushrooms and rice and fruit salad

Fingers and toes crossed for us all. Sleep well.

    Hiya :)
1lb off at WI. I'm so frustrated as I'm 1lb off my 2 stone award  on the one hand I'm trying to keep my losses minimal because of my dress but I really want that 2 stone award before I slow right down until April. Monday was a Free2Go day- my consultant suggested this might be a good plan for me because of my circumstances at the moment and also because I'm trying to maintain. Some days I do EE and others I do this one.
    Mondays meal plan:
B: Tesco Frozen Mixed Fruit Salad, Total 0% fat free Greek yoghurt, cherry Mullerlight, cup of tea with HEXA milk
L: HiFi Rocky Road and Alpen Light Cherry Bakewell (part HEXB) banana, pint of NAS cordial
Snack at group: BBQ Beef MugShot, 2 HiFi Rocky Roads (part HEXB 3 syns) NAS cordial
T: Tesco Healthy Living Salmon and Broccoli Pie (2 syns)small jacket sweet potato with a tiny bit of Flora lighter than light (0.5 syns) steamed mixed veg, Uncle Ben's golden veg rice (2.5 syns) Kinder mini choc bar (3.5 syns) pint of NAS cordial
Supper: 2 Tesco Wheat Biscuits with s/s milk and banana, cup of tea with s/s milk
    Syns: 11.5
Body magic: 3.5 mile walk and walking on the spot while ironing :D

To explain the healthy extras, basically this is the young adults plan. On this plan you can have unlimited amounts of HEXA skimmed or semi skimmed milk, HEXB cereals and WM bread/rolls/crispbreads, and three HiFi bars/cheeses. I find it works very well for me and I usually have a small loss the weeks I follow it on some days.
    Hope everyone's ok.
    Night all x
