This thread moves so quickly I can barely keep up! Have been feeling really hungry today but have managed to stay on plan:

Breakfast - Magic Porridge (HEB), 2 plums, banana

Lunch - Pea and Ham soup (from the SW Website) and a side salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber)

Dinner - Oven Baked Risotto with mushrooms and a large grated courgette, 60g Low Low (HEA) and salad leaves

Snacks - Orange, kiwi, 2 x cups of tea (1 syn for the milk), Alpen Light bar (3 syns)

Still feeling a bit peckish so I might have a hot chocolate later for 3.5 syns.

  • Just back from my week 5 weigh in, 6lb off giving a running total of 31lb.

I'm following the Extra Easy plan so am basically eating as much free foods as I want, and plenty of fruit and veg as well.

I make a big bowl of salad every couple of days and have that with almost everything. Also making a lot of fruit cocktails.
Home made soup's normally always on hand as well for lunch.

Syns are normally just things like cheese spread/milk (depending on A choice), extra light mayo, sweet chilli dipping sauce, perhaps some gravy granules for a casserole or an occasional packet of French fries

Drinking at least 3-4 litres of fluids a day, normally plain water, sparkling water, tea or diluting juice.

I don't plan my daily eating as such, just make sure there's plenty available.

For exercise, I've walked around 24 miles in the past week.

Long way to go, but getting there.

Well done on fabulous loss

Thanks lantanna- good luck to you too! :) I'm studying English Language and Literature. I already have a CertHe in it from when I studied at Northumbria University but that was 14 years ago

How did it go? Are you doing it through the OU?

Graduated with a 2:1 in English Literature from there last year, not that I've been able to afford to book a ceremony yet!
