    Hi everyone.

My downfall is portion size and cake and not cooking properly when I'm tired!

I know exactly what you meam. I am always tired as I don't sleep well and work 43 hours a week but there are some evenings where I just come home and 'sit' and before I know it its 7pm and I can't be bothered to cook a meal. I'm hoping that once the spring comes I will a bit more uplifted moodwise.

I love following this thread even though I may not post much - it always strengthens my resolve to carry on so thank you all for that

I am going to try my first ever red day!

    hex a milk
hex b wholemeal roll (Brunch, I tend to get up very late on a saturday as its my only day off)
    bacon
    banana

dinner steak and tuna (small piece of each)
    salad

vodka and diet coke later :T 4 syns

Am I correct in thinking that I can have another hex b today if I want?

That's right. You can have up to 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs on Red and Green. So if you wanted a baked potato (230g raw with skin) or something with your dinner you can. Enjoy.

Maman - I'm currently testing out the whole must have a trigger for it to set off? Truthfully so far I've drawn a blank? Attack 2 was following salt n pepper chicken roasted veg n sw chips (frylight only fat) so I put that down to eating too much? Attack 3 - Chinese takeaway (so possible too much n too much fat?) attack 4 - beans with grated cheese (half a hexa) so nothing really? And since then its been a constant grumble - not enough to warrant a trip to a&e but enough to break out the tramadol :/
I don't know if it was a definite I ate x food I'd cut it out no questions asked would just cut it out. However cadburys biscuits don't seem to effect it ;)
9 days til scan and hopefully drs appt that week to get a quick referral

Lack of sleep - unfortunately I'm used to it dd has rarely slept through :( and its just us so all falls to me

Green tiger- definitely marinate over night if you like the spice ;) I don't even add the fromage frais at the end anymore as I've adjusted the spices to my taste ;) its a good curry though
I'm glad my encouragement had the desired reverse effect :) that's what works with me anyway lol no I bloody well won't give up!

I use the 105 in a week bank and keep a food diary (am actual diary now used to be a notebook but a day to page diary is good for me :)

2b thanks for the chart :)

Shala - I don't count cooked fruit I know I should but its my close to target option should weight loss slow down ;)

The Sainsbury cumberland sausages are half syn each. The Tesco ones have increased to 1 syn each, no idea why because they don't seem any different.

    Having another EE day today:

B - fry up with bacon, egg, mushrooms, SW sausage, dry fried potato & onion cake
    L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich (HEB + 1 syn)
D - LO pork & pearl barley stew

HEA - SS milk in tea throughout the day

    Syns - sausage 0.5; mayo 1;

Will probably have a fruit split lolly later for 3 syns. Not sure if I'll have anything else. Probably won't have any wine today even though I'm feeling so much better now.

    As I am just 2lbs off first target I am going to make sure I make it so today's food plan is;

    B; porridge (HEB)
    snacks apple and banana
    L: leftover spag bol

D:Jacket potato with baked beans and salad

HE A semi skimmed milk on porridge and in tea.

I have a stinking cold but have tickets for a band tonight. I was planning on being designated driver and taking some fruit tea bags with me.

    Hi
Yesterday wasn't a good day, wasn't feeling well, didn't eat much, but what I did was good.

toady has been better, I've had
    a milk
    b Weetabix

breakfast 2 Weetabix with milk and blueberries
    dinner ham salad
tea - not decided yet as hubbys out.

What do you all make in bulk to freeze, I've just made a big batch of cola curry, made with loads and loads of veg, and just 3 quorn fillets.

what else do you all make and freeze?
  • Hi
what else do you all make and freeze?

Favourites in our house for making and freezing are chilli, sausage casserole, pasta arribiata and cowboy hotpot, if you want recipes just let me know.
