Had loads of food last night at a celebration last night so I decided to have my final WI for the Valentine's challenge next week.
I will be superfart souping like crazy next week playing catch up.
Going to attempt my first actual run (well podcast from couch to 5k which I assume is a running/walking combination) EVER tomorrow, so if you don't hear from me again, assume I'm dead in a field somewhere0 -

Busy day at work. I had my HEb at lunchtime (2 slices of w/m bread), so will have to find something I can nibble on tonight or have to syn....

fat free yogurt, banana
homemade wedges, chicken stir fry, broccoli and green beans
Need a bit more HEa, maybe a tiny bit of grated parmesan on my veg, mmmm0 -

Does anyone know if the M&S fuller for longer meals syn values are listed in the 2013 food directory?
Are pretty much most things listed in there?
I can't decide whether to spend £80 on a 3 month online membership and have full access or £30 (ish) and make do with a starter pack and 2013 food directory and my memory of when I did it before.
I have 18lbs to lose in 12 weeks which is 1 1/2lb a week average which is do-able if I really stick with it.0 -
BTW I'm not asking anyone to look up all the syn values for me, it's just there's a few packs and the directory ending on ebay soon and I'm trying to decide whether to just get them.
However if it won't be enough then I'll just buy an online membership for the 12 weeks.0 -
HI there (creeping in). Confession time.
Maman, I should have taken that duck tape. Waste of a day SW wise. Breakfast - ML vanilla yogurt, blueberries & raspberries
Mid morning (had another hosp appt an hour from home) a big (lovely) melting moment from Dobbies
Lunch - with friend (an hour away in the other direction!!!) crostini misto, sea bream, wee tatties, creamy leeks, strawberry ice cream with one of those wee tube wafers, a wee mint choc with the tea to finish. Then since I came home I've had 2 choc biscs. I'm about to have the planned butternut squash & ginger soup for dinner (oh and I just stole 2 chips from OH). And I'm sure I'll be forced to have something else at supper time.
Total syns - about a gazillion.
Tomorrow we are away for the day to football match in Dumfries (if weather holds out - game was abandoned last time), so not sure how things will go.
The plan is
Breakfast - porridge & fruit
Lunch - mushroom omelette (we'll have to rush off after this, but I don't want to eat out for lunch)
Dinner - chicken tikka masala (making it tonight - just a question whether we can last until we get home to eat)
Ho hum. Hope you all do better than me.
Denise, I hope you are feeling better by now.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hi Geeves,
I was going to go down the M&S route but I found the syns quite high in some of the ready meals.. the chicken casserole one was 16.5:eek: but I think most of them are about 6-10 syns
Have you tried googling the ones you were going to buy? I found all the syns doing this.. might save you money both ways.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I've tried searching for them but can't narrow it down to the ones I like.
I thought they would be quite high in syns but had hoped as the calorie count was low/protein higher etc they would be a better choice.
I've just bought the pack of ebay as managed to find the syn values for quite a few other bits I had a list for and it seemed to correlate with what I remember it being before.
The problem is the shift work I do 12 1/2 hour shifts with an 1 1/2 commute each way three times a week, days and nights, so if I do a few shifts in a row, I'm usually knackered after the last one and just don't have time to prepare tomorrows dinner and get a decent sleep. These ready meals or similar are usually the easiest option.
But if the syns are over 10 per meal, they are off the list!0 -

That is what did, just bought from ebay last year, I have the directory 2013 and most things are in it even though sometimes its hard to find, but everytime I look something up in it, I highlight it if I plan to eat that kind of thing again, so its getting easier
It's what you prefer really. And the lovely peeps on here keep us right if new foods are added as an extra HEa or b.0 -
2b - please can you put me down for 0.5lb onOfficially debt free :j0
