Hugs Mildredd - has your gallbladder not taken the hint & left yet? Will you be having it removed?
Thank you for your words of wisdom everyone - I think I was having a bad day yesterday & because I didn't go to group this week I don't feel as motivated :-(
It doesn't help that DH doesn't help out that much :-( although he has given me some slack in the household chores department! But he can't help with the feeds - I do express but he works full time & drives for the most part which he needs his sleep - unfortunately that means that I do all the night shifts :-(
Last night was a bad one - up every 2/3 hours from midnight!
Food wise I have chosen badly - banana & peanut butter sarnie on white bread for breakfast - panini from costas for lunch - although dinner was quorn chilli with a jacket so was good :-)
If you were at costas (or any other branded coffee shop) over lunchtime & didn't bring any food but was hungry - what would you choose?
One step at a time eh?
Thanks again for the kind words - they made me feel happier but I cried at the same time - damn these hormones! Lol
Keep up the good work x0 -

Evening all,
Mildredd hope the pain stops soon, I know gallbladder pain is awful
Well done on getting back to target Denise :j
Lots of nattering on here today, but always a great read
Well I've had a busy old day. I was watching a home makeover programme this morning, and decided on a whim to decorate our bathroom. I'd bought the paint for it last summer, and simply lost interest after I'd gone through the checkout at the DIY storeIt's not quite finished, as I've got to put the bathroom back together again, but it's looking much better, and just think of the body magic! I'm thinking about it, because the backs of my legs are aching now.
Then it's been dentist/barbers/school open evening from 4pm onwards with the boys. Back home now with a nice hot chocolate OH has just made me, and my feet up. Ahhhhhh.
Food plan today : EE
B - Muller greek yogurt 0.5 syn, banana
L - Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans
D - Steak (spotted some sirloin reduced in the s/mkt :T), spiced wedges 200g 6 syns, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, balsamic vinegar. Ketchup 1 syn.
Supper - Highlights Hot Choc 2 syns
HEB - slice of W/M bread with lunch
HEA - Milk in tea/coffee
Total Syns - 9.5 syns
I've got a shopping delivery being delivered tomorrow, with lots of fresh fruit and plenty of frozen veggies to keep us going for a while yet. I'm going away to see a friend on Sunday til Tues., but planning to keep it all on plan if I can. She's done SW before, so should know how to do that. Plan to take some fruit with me just in case, and some sachets of porridge, as I think she'll have sugary cereals. Planning ahead is key to me staying on track, otherwise I tend to panic and feel put on the spot to make a quick decision, worrying it might not be within plan.
Nessie, just keep doing what you can. It's so hard when you've got very small children (I should know, I have 4!) My husband didn't help with the children either, to the point that he worked away an awful lot too, so I was pretty much a single mum in many respects. As MrsMc said, sleep when they nap (if they do!) because having your energy levels up to speed will make all the difference. I think her idea of having some frozen WW meals, or something similar, like the quorn cottage pies (only 1 syn) would be ideal for a quick easy lunch/dinner. Maybe pre-zap some baked spuds in the microwave and keep them to hand in the fridge, easy to whizz again and have with some cheese & beans. Anything to give you some good nutrition, which is all good for bubba too. I found quorn sometimes gave LO the trumps... you've been warnedOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0
