Back on it fully todaywas within syns yesterday but today I'm back to counting syns properly
Today's food plan
Breakfast - grapes
Lunch - 1/2 batchelors rice, pickled onion and beetroot or boiled eggs or I don't actually know what I fancy lol
Dinner - sw hotpot - broc, cauliflower and sprouts
Hexa - cheese or milk
Hexb - ryvita minis this evening probably or bread at lunch not sure yet
Ryvita minis in the book it says 30g bag but the multipacks are 24g so its under hexb allowanceso I figure its a bit towards speed
Currently having a little break from dechristmassing and watching tangled with my dd for the 6th timeneed to find homes for Xmas presents today
it resembles a early learning centre explosion

Yesterday went well I think...
B: 35g porridge oats made up with skimmed milk and a sprinkling of sweetner (I'm hoping I'm right that that is my HEXB and HEXA for the day??)
L: big salad with ham and chicken (1 tbs salad cream...2.5 syns??)chicken stir fry (loads of veg and mushrooms) with egg noodles, chilli and ginger - it was yum!!
Snacks were mandarin oranges and a muller light - 2L water (no booze *happy dance*)
Today will be:
B: 35g porridge and skimmed milk (please someone tell me if this is right as I haven't had it yet lol)
L: same salad as yesterdaysteak, salad, mushrooms, tomatoes and SW chips
Not sure about exercise - unless I may have to go help build an Ark as the weather is something else here!!
That looks a pretty good menu. All I'd say is just check on the noodles. The dried ones are mostly free but others have syns. Depends on the brand. Oh and very few syns. Are you saving them?Sugarhunny wrote: »Anything else you could suggest? I can't eat a lot of fruit as I have IBS and it goes straight through me (great for weight loss though... I think you'll be OK provided you have plenty of soup and loads of veg with your supper. I'm lazy when it comes to eating fruit so manage perfectly well with mostly SF veg. Perhaps see how your weightloss goes and rethink if it slows down.0 -
Does anyone have up to date A and B lists they could paste please? Mine still has 350ml skimmed milk and not sure that's right any more?
Breakfast was poached egg, beans, HEXB toast and an apple.
Dinner is going to be 2 slices of lean ham, 1 sliced boiled egg and a gigantic salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, gherkins, beetroot and pickled onions - I find that including the pickles means I don't need any dressing.
Tea will be SW soup, possibly with SW chips or a jacket potato, wish I'd frozen more of it now as I'm getting a bit fed up of it to be honest and some melon afterwards.
HEXA in tea through the day.
Syns in the form of a couple of extra light laughing cow triangles in celery, one packet of low syn crisps in the afternoon (monster munch, quavers or wotsits) and an options chocolate before bed.0 -

That's still right on the 350 mls of skimmed milk or you can have 6 laughing cows. So unless you have loads of tea you could mix and match a bit.
Unless anyone on here is more computer savvy than me (wouldn't be too difficult;)) then SW seem to have made it impossible to cut and paste the lists. Will gladly look up anything you want though.:)0 -
Can you tell me how much 1% milk allowance per day please, I am using 300ml as that seems to between skimmed and semi skimmed.

I try to limit the fruit as I go a bit mad for it, so I'd say veggie nibbles? I nibble on carrots, radishes, all pickles, cucu, celery etc. I make up a box and keep them in the fridge, and then nibble all daySay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

I watched part of one of those programmes lantanna about how people lose weight and put it all back on again. I know it happens and they seemed mostly yo-yo dieters who'd tried every wacky thing going. What I found difficult was one woman who said she thought she put it back on because she knew she had the knack of dieting it off again and enjoyed the thrill/compliments of getting thin again??? I found that hard to understand. I won't put on more than a few pounds before taking myself in hand and I NEVER tire of feeling thin.
I quite agree with you maman - since I reached target I love feeling thin and even if I do put a few lbs on I start to feel really uncomfortable.
If we are going to do a new challenge then I would like to do an STS again - it would be great if you would do the chart 2b :T
EE for me today:
B: Boiled egg with slice of wholemeal bread (HEB) spread with x1 laughing cow light (part HEA), small fruit juice (2 syns), satsuma & grapes
L: Large mixed salad with tuna
T: SW chicken curry with basmati rice
S &Banana, satsuma, tea (milk as balance of HEA), (planned for tonight) glass of wine (6 syns)
Have a good weekend everyone0 -
Maman - I would have saved syns for wine and I'm off it for January and I don't really have a sweet tooth...is it necessary to have the syns? I'm not saving them for anything...I did make DH a hot chocolate last night (I had herbal tea) - maybe I'll make me one tonight too.0

When I took my salad from the fridge just now (I don't like it ice cold so give it ten minutes to stand first), one of Top Boy's Christmas minstrels fell from one of those tubes that he has thoughtfully stacked in the fridge door and landed on my slipper.
I HAD to eat it, right? How many syns are in one minstrel?0
