Sweet 1 I weigh in on a thurs, it gives me three days after the weekend to reign it back in lol. I used to go to a Monday class but found I was always fat and bloated on a Monday after the weekend so a thurs deffo suits me best - but then everyone is different.
The advantage of wi at the start of the week is that it may keep you in check for the weekend. I tend to let myself have one meal off in a normal week usually a fri or a sat and that works for me knowing that I have until thurs to pull back

I like your thinking lantanna... well i will weigh today so my official weigh in day will be Friday and my day off day will be a Sunday.

See feeling the love and very excited already:j

Booked myself into to classes for next week already Legs bums and tums and water work out (now where is that costume).

Thank you sukeyboo, I definitely find it easier in work – too busy tothink about snacking!

Iantanna – thank you – that gives me a boost! I think I need to be12.7-13.0 to be a size 14 in all shops – I think I would be OK with that as I felt really happy and healthy at a 14. When is the wedding? My one is 27th June so gives me 6 months, and I know that time will fly by. If I can lose just 1lb a week I would be 12.5 stone which would be amazing – I think that is doable!

Are you all doing exercise as well?

I used to be very fit and active but have done no exercise whatsoever in the past year L I have now started doing some fast walks with my friend (aiming for at least twice a week) and 1 gym session a week. I do find it hard working full time in a demanding job, plus having a toddler, a husband that works long hours and trying to fit in seeing friends and family! But I think it’s going to be important for me

I do an exercise DVD (Rosemary Conley) about 3 times a week and a Zumba Fitness class (1 hour) once a week. Like you, I do find it difficult to fit in but I really do think it has made a difference - not quite so much in actually losing weight but in toning up.

    sukeyboo - Valentines challenge - STS - thanks 2b :)

How does the challenge work for people with a different weight in day? My weigh in day is Monday, so would it be till the Monday before or the Monday after 14th?

I'm thinking it would be the Monday before, so my weigh in this Monday would count towards it?

    Sorry, I'm a newbie!
  • I'm doing the Slim in Six video...I've just started and I' supposed to be training for a marathon in 16 weeks but I've not really got started on that...I need to get my (fat) !!!! in gear lol!

Thanks for that. Realistically I am now only about 2 and a half stone overweight - but have terrible back fat & a belly - the rest of me is ok. I can feel my back fat in bed at night getting caught on the sheets when I turn over - horrible lol. Hope some exercise dvds might help - failing that I just don't know. My legs are like matchsticks now so I have definitely have areas I really need to concentrate on.
