Shala – Think I have had two Subways since last April – only time I miss them really is the summer. Good for you for resisting - they have a very distinctive smell!
It got worse tonight - they ordered pizza.. PIZZA!!!! Meanies... I left before it arrived because I couldn't guarantee my will power would hold out
Now got to decide if I treat myself tomorrow to a slice after weigh in "We didn't all come through the door tonight because we ate too many carrots now did we" :rotfl::rotfl:
Love this :rotfl:Skint_Catt wrote: »I've been angry, cried, smiled & bought my bodyweight in junk food today (and bought a nice shiny car:eek:)
Hugs Catt.. hope you get up to Brum soon. Happy new car though
Mrs Ryan - Congratulations :j:T glad to see you're back and feeling a bit chirpier xYum yum my two faves! I had a mackerel and boiled egg salad for lunch today!
Don't be offended hmbee but I won't be coming round for tea anytime soon :rotfl::rotfl:
My tea was lovely today, I made a big side salad like you'd get in Harvester, the only thing that was missing was some nice crunchy onions or bacon bits.. might have to see how many syns they are and add some in :TMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Hello people I came across this thread last night, and read a bit, and wondered can I join you, I can't contribute during the day due to work.
last wed in the space of half an hour I decided to go to a slimming world meeting, was reading in a magazine about someone who lost a lot of weight and next to it was a free membership, looked up where my nearest meeting was and it was in 30 mins, so I jumped in the car and went.
I weighed in at 11st 9.5lb, which is 2 stone heavier than I would like to be.
I've just filled in my diary for tomorrow, and wondered if you would look at it for me and tell me have I gone wrong anywhere.
I'm doing extra easy, so most days it's milk and ceral, which I'm ok with.
here goes.
thur,
cereal with milk and banana
mug shot the 1% fat free
apple
jacket spud, beans mushrooms, 2 rashers bacon
strawberries
fri
cereal with milk
salad 2 slice ham
sw quiche (lovely) with salad and sw home made chips
onken youg strawberry fat free (already had in) syns 1.5?
strawberries
sat
ceral with milk
apple
piece of quiche
sw kebab donner meal made with 200g lean lamb mince 4 syns with salad
sunday
cereal with milk
mug shot
sw cola chicken rice and cabbage
2 brivita youg biscuits 12 syns yikes, had them in won't be getting them again.
mon
ceral with milk
mug shot apple
sw carbonara with 1 tablespoon dried parmesan 1.5 syns and dried pasta
quark mixed with muller light toffee youg banana and 1 alpen light bar 2.5 syns
tue
cereal with milk
orange
2 s/w fishcakes 1 with prawns 1 with mackerel bakedbeans and a separate coleslaw made with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise light 1.5 syn
sw cheese scone, made with cottage cheese 2 eggs packet asda dried mash 25g cheddar light 4 syns.
My husband says that my meals are too stodgy too much pasta, rice and spuds.
And I should have more lean meat and salads.
any advice would be gratefully received.
It's my 1st weigh in tomorrow I was hoping for a 3 or 4lb loss in my 1st week.
thanks for taking the time to read, and i'll check in each night with you.0 -
Thanks for the chart 2b. Horrible when that 'being in the zone' feeling just goes - I wish we could bottle it. Day at a time . . . and they all eventually add up.
Hugs to you Catt xx
Mrs_Ryan - congratulations to you and OH!
Been to Rotary tonight. Ate the pea soup, ate the bottom of the cheesey potato cottage pie, ate the veg. Difficult, because it's a set meal, and I don't want to draw attention to myself by demanding something different. I'm one of very few women in a group of truly lovely gentlemen, but I really don't want them overly concerned with my body or dietary habits! Menu claimed buttered carrots, but there was no evidence of butter, so I think I'm safe.
Can't believe it's only one week to go to the end of the first challenge of 2014. Well done everyone on the losses achieved so far.0 -
quick post as off to bed, another 2.5lbs off for me taking me to 16 lbs so smashed valentines target with 10 days spare, bring on next challenge0

Bring it on!!!:D
Many congratulations MrsR:T to you and MrR! To go form a size 24 to a 16 is amazing. I know you have your dress ready for your special rugby do in the spring but you're doing so well, it might be really loose on you!
Chris, your menu looks OK and I'm sure you'll lose on it. But I do tend to agree with your DH that it's a bit on the stodgy side. It might work on Green but for EE I'd really work on plenty of superfrees especially veg. Monday looks especially light on SFs and remember baked beans are free but aren't SF. Although you do have a fair bit of salad across the week I'd suggest things like onions. carrots, tomatoes, beetroot, cauli, broccoli.....whatever SFs you can fit in. It'll definitely help.
I made a start getting back on plan tonight. Supper was fine but the some snacking occurred.:o0 -
This year I have dedicated myself to a number of new habits, and in changing a variety of my current methods. I want to lose weight, but my main focus is to develop a deeper connection with my body and my health. I read stories about people who are in their 60's and still run several miles every week. I want to be that way, as well when I am that age. My main focus is to begin increasing my energy, and recognizing the balance between my body and the foods that I take into it. I also intend to develop a regular exercise program, as well.0

Tried a few times to shift some weight, but I'm fast approaching 40 and really need to get it done.
Joined Slimming World 4 weeks ago, and I'm 25lb down in 4 weeks.
I'm having to make new holes in my belt as the waistlines reducing.
It's another 5 weeks before I go away for my 40th, and I'm hoping to lose 3lb per week between now and then.0
