Trying to be good this week as I am having my first night out in a long time (illness, then dryathlon) on Sat so I need syns to spare!
Breakfast - Mushroom omelette and plum tomatoes
Dinner - Tuna pasta salad (1)
Tea - Minced beef hash, carrots, broccoli and asparagus
Snacks - pineapple, melon, apple, orange muller light, options (2) and alpen light x 2 for HEXB.
WI tomorrow and if I haven't lost a couple of those 5lbs, I am shaving my head!
I have been roped into a chip shop dinner tomorrow - does anyone know if SW chips reheat well?0 -
Forgive me, I have Syn'd. My birthday tea treat was at a local pub, had lasagne, although did have double salad rather than garlic bread and diet coke. Next Tuesday, it's oldest daughters birthday so will be a bad wi next Wednesday...
Ps. How many syn's is lasagne please? Was a hungry horse pub.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

I have been checking up on yoghourts. I used to love Natural Greek yoghourt which was creamy but when I started on SW I was pointed towards muller lights or other similar no fat yoghourts.
I am quite concerned that in my fave Greek yoghourts are just 4 grams of sugar but in mullers there are approx 13grams in a pot. I checked another brand .... No fat ... And they had 14 grams.
I find that quite shocking.0 -
Hi Jellybaby :hello: welcome!
Really interested to watch the Sugar v Fat show as well, missed it first time around but found it at 11.20pm tonight.. :T

tomorrows menu - going to try synless tomorrow to bring it back a bit..
B - fruit (prob a banana)
L - chicken pieces, ryvita, cheese (hea & b), pickles
T - yuk sung in lettuce leaves, egg fried rice
S - apple, carrotsMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
You're right lantanna. I think I've accepted that I am slim now but I haven't forgotten the years that I was fat. So every day I get a thrill from seeing how slim I am in the mirror and accept all compliments with great pleasure. For anyone feeling fed up, I can only keep repeating how good it feels not to be fat any more.
Brilliant loss! I'm convinced that everything catches up in the end. So if you do STS, eventually you'll have a loss that will make up for it. There are exceptions like making mistakes on syns and some medications but generally plodding on is the best advice.
MrsR and rfd, hope you have a much better day today. MrsR, I'd definitely see what can be done about that doctor's report. Not only is it incredibly insensitive but for him to make statements about your capability which are patently wrong is incompetent.
We had the conversation at group today about chow mein going up in syns. I asked how they could say that for all Chinese taka-aways across the country. I think they expected us to just accept that if SW HQ said it, it must be true! When forced to think, my consultant reasoned that many/most restaurants buy in sauce mixes from a limited number of suppliers. Apparently some have increased the amount of cornflour and hence the syns. I think it's worth checking with your local if it's something you eat.
We were also given a voucher for a free Batchelors pasta pot thing. I don't eat them myself but I thought I'd get one and put it in the SoW basket.
For 2b, I STS this week.
I'm delighted with that as I've eaten out so much recently. I'm away this weekend staying with a friend but I should be able to rein myself back before Valentine's.
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg, HEA milk for teas
L: probably HM vegetable souplamb chops, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots, cabbage
Syns: gravy, squirt of sauce
Hi Mamam
Did I miss your WI last week? So far I have:
wk 1: -2
wk 2 : +0.5
wk 3:
wk 4: 0
Or did you start a week later?xBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
WI for me today, 2.25lbs off again. I'm a bit disappointed as last week I had a naughty Chinese and couple of bottles (!) of prosecco and this week I was 100% on plan, and hoping to lose a wee bit more and both weeks lost exactly the same!
But, I do know a loss is a loss - I'll take it!

Welcome Jellybaby!
Right, have to be completely honest with you lot. I feel really disgusted with myself I need a swift kick up the backside.
I gained 6lbs :eek::eek: yes 6lbs that almost one for every day of the weekTo say I am devastated is an understatement, I weighed in then ran straight out of group and sat in the car and sobbed until my throat hurt. It hasn't been a week completely on plan I will admit but I wasn't expecting that much.
I'm on the depo so can't even blame it on * week. I go on holiday 2 weeks tomorrow and wanted to lose 12lbs. I really feel like giving up. But I'm not going to. I'm going to get on Tesco's and do my food shop to have a good week.
I'm drawing that line and getting right back on it.
Well done to all of the losers, no matter how much you have lost be happy it is still a loss.
Mildredd & MrsRyan I hope you are both feeling better.0 -
Evening all
Welcome Jellybaby
Becks Well done on drawing the line, atta girl! Getting the right shopping in is a great idea, I find I'm really prone to going 'off piste' if I haven't got the right shopping in.
Weigh in for me tonight and a 3.5lb loss for me and Slimmer of the Month :j:j:j:j:j.
Just 2 more lbs to go for my 1 stone award, determined to get it next week so I'm going for it big time this week. I've got all the right shopping inso in theory 2 lbs should be doable.
Does anybody else find that pasta slows their weight loss down? I know it's a free but I don,t have such good losses the weeks I eat pasta. Other carbs (potatoes, rice, couscous, quinoa e.t.c.) I'm fine with. Pasta makes me feel bloated and a bit sluggish anyway, so maybe this is a case of listening to your body. I'm going to consciously leave it out again this week and see what happens loss wise.0 -
