WI this morning for me. Feeling quite positive that I will have lost a bit as my weighing trousers feel extremely comfortable this morning!!!

    Having a Green day today:

B - banana after WI; WW caramel wafer (4)
    L - beans on toast
D - pasta in tomato sauce with loads of veg added.
    S - 4 original Ryvita, 40g reduced fat cheddar

Lunch may well change to just some fruit as I need to go shopping after group and if I'm feeling hungry I'll buy a bag of prepared fruit to eat in the car before driving home.

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEA2 - cheese for supper
HEB1 - bread for toast at lunchtime
    HEB2 - 4 original Ryvita
Syns - WW caramel wafer bar - 4

Don't think I'll need to use any more syns but they're there if I need them. Probably better to save them for the weekend wine, LOL!

Morning, Mrs R - your Doctor sounds like a real charmer! Chin up Hun you've done so well. Maman - you are a slim person now! Time for the brain to catch up with the body I think!!

Had a sneaky jump on the scales last night (I know) and I've a cheek to give off to Mildredd for doing it!!!! Anyway it was 2 lbs up from Tuesday so was annoyed! Not feeling hopeful for wi - defo at a stuck stage again :( Will have to rethink my plans - think I have been overdosing on the fruit. I seemed to have better losses when I was eating less of it. Horizon had a programme on last night - Sugar versus Fat -which is worse, think I will watch that over the weekend as sounds interesting.

    morning everyone

well done on the losses folks :T

MrsLady -I feel the same, I seem to be constantly ordering food... another order coming tonight -not a huge one this time -but again it is mainly fruit n veg. I also have a meat order coming tomorrow -well steak and chicken breasts, I don't actually need them right now but westin gourmet were doing a decent offer so I figured I may as well get them now ;) part of it is 5kg of skinless/boneless chicken breasts for £20 :T and 35 day rib eye steaks worked out t £3.90 each which isn't exactly cheap BUT it works out less than a takeaway and better for us -and they are nomnomnom ;)

MrsRyan -sorry the doctor was a rude ignorant pillock... don't you just love it when they assume everything is down to your weight  I chuckle every time I have seen a new DR because the first thing they want to do is check my blood pressure and every time they do it is perfect -it always makes em look puzzled :p. Hopefully you can get to see a different one next time.
Don't let them get you down -you have lost a big chunk of weight and if they can't see that then it says more about them than about you !!!

Greentiger -great news about the hospital :T

Rainbow -hope they sort your wages out soon,,, and hope things settle down too...

    Hello to everyone else :hello:

Well nothing much happening here at the moment, I have managed to emulsion our bedroom (well the 1st coat anyway) just need to wait for decent day light later to see if it needs a 2nd coat *please don't need one, please don't need one*and then I need to paper 1 wall and then get all the junk out and everything in place so I can make a start on Charlies room. I used to enjoy decorating but now Its more of a "guess I had better get it done out of the way" kind of deal :o

Im not sure what kind of day to have today :undecided -think I might go green as yesterday ended up red ...
so it might look like this:-

    500ml semi (hexAx2)
    apple
    clementine

    12 speed soup
    grapefruit

hmmmmmmmm well that is as far as I can think right now :rotfl: so I will have to pop on when I have thought about it ... hmmmmm might make some wedges/oven chips with mushy peas for my dinner tonight -hubby can have the same with some fish, sausage etc and CharlieB will have the same too ...

right I had better get off and make another cuppa ... have a good day everyone and keep at it -we are getting there....

  • Morning all

Thank you for all your kind words last night. I sent my manager an email informing him i thought it was wrong so he sent me a copy of my wage slip which i had a look at. It seems that HMRC have tanned me £466 in tax/ni :eek::mad::eek::mad::eek:( as i received a brucie bonus this month), and its not the £700 i initially thought i was out by ( just goes to show how i think when i am in :( mode ) . I am still very  at the figure as its pretty much treble what i normally pay and means that i have infact lost half of my bonus to the tax man . I am going to contact the lady who puts the wages through as i cant accept the fact £466 has gone to the taxman. I want it to be properly explained. It just makes no sense to me - the fact they have tripled by tax/ni contributions is bonkers.. If indeed its correct i will accept it & voodoo doll george osbourne because i truly feel i have been robbed of that money - i worked my backside off to earn that bonus & its GUTTING that i will only see half of it..:(

To top off my evening i transferred some cash to my mums bank account (money burns a hole in my pocket :o) & realised at 11.49 pm i had transferred across to (what i thought was her current account - then i twigged she had changed banks) and i thought it must have been a closed account - queue much panic :eek:and texts to my mum asking if the account is still open. Due to the time there was no reply so had to tell myself to calm down as there was nothing i could do at that particular time as banks were closed etc and it was NO GOOD having a "stress out " especially as i was in bed.

My talking to myself worked and i fell asleep (fortunately and also slept through) . Have spoke to my mum this morning who has told me that she has the money safe & well and now uses this account as a savings account..all good (mega phews there) . All in all yesterday was truly a crappy day.

So this morning i am still grumpy (seriously why do women suffer from hormones? ). I dont want to talk to anyone. I just want to be at home on my own :o. :(. So today is going to be a green day for me :-

B - muller light vanilla with pineapple chunks.
L - Rice with tuna (hex b) with peas, mushrooms & onions
D - Veggie omelette with SW chips

    snacks - tangerine, options (2), ryvita (2nd hex b), milk as hex a, low fat cheese (2nd hex a). 2 x snackajack rice cakes ( 8)

I hope everyone has a nice day ! I will let you know what the wages lady says about the tax.

    Hi all
Rubbish rubbish day :( got a copy of the letter to my GP from the orthopaedic consultant today in which he basically says I'm fat and lazy and couldn't do what he was asking me because of my weight!! I was furious and had a little cry because I've worked so hard to lose 4.5 stone and he's talking about me in the same terms as I was when I was nearly 20 stone!!! He didn't seem to grasp that I struggled because I was in pain and that I'm not morbidly obese anymore!! :( I'm going back to the doctor to ask for a second opinion as he also put that I can get in and out of the shower without assistance (I can't, I clearly told him OH has to lift me in and out) and that I can do all household tasks without assistance (again I told him clearly OH has to do it all) I don't want to go back to that horrible man again! Mind it was the same hospital that told me there was nothing wrong and wanted to forcibly fit a Mirena coil when I actually had cancer...

Mrs Ryan - I am sorry to hear this.. what a terribly unprofessional thing to say about you. No wonder you had a cry - i think i would have as well. I dont blame you for getting a second opinion - in your shoes i would do the same. They sound like a right bunch of idiots at your hospital.. Having lost 4.5 stones is an AMAZING achievement.. . Hope you are feeling better this morning. :grouphug:
