Well done you losers!!
I'm been lurgy-ed up the last few days so haven't been able to get on, but i've skim read most of it.. Mildredd, MrsRyan, Skintcatt and Consultant, look after yourselves.. it's not a good week!! xxxx
I haven't bothered weighing this week as it'll be an incorrect number due to lurgy, so i'll pretend i've stayed the same and see what happens next week.. so 6lbs/46lbs still.
Lohman, i think if they are the same nutritionally then they should be the same as Muller syn wise. I do think SW likes to push certain foods/brands - Muller/Mugshotz/Pasta n sauce/savoury rice....
Just eating a few bits of toast today so not back on plan yet..
have a good day all xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Good Afternoon:)
I only lost 1/2lb today. I know it is still a loss and I should be happy but it is still frustrating. I will try hard this week
My day will be something like:
B, 2x hifi bars (Hb)
L, salad, mayo (1syn) and Ainsley cous cous (2.5syns)
D, quorn cowboy pie and veg.
I might call Green and have some grated cheese on the cowboy pie and a SW donut.
Hmmm decisions.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

If that was me I'd definitely be calling it a Green day so I could have some cheese and crackers (the "SW donut" doesn't do it for me) during the evening.

I got my first "I haven't seen you in a while...you look great...have you lost loads of weight"0

Wow - a moment to savour Ginger!
I have just sat and worked out that I would like to lose 4 stones at the rate of 1lb a week in time for a 'big' birthday next year!! That's doable in theory isn't it?! That would put me at just under 10 stone, which I haven't been since 1988! LOL!!! I do like the idea of little targets and small achievable goals and that's got me thinking about how many I could set between now and then. Perhaps getting to a point where I'm fewer than 50 lb to target, each half stone, reducing BMI - all sorts really. And clothes sizes (I'm currently at good size 20).
Apart from that, I'm still being good, but had an odd day yesterday. Lots of things went a bit wonky at work, and I ended up having no lunch. Then got invited to the theatre, and realised I was in danger of not being able to eat at all! Lovely fiance to the rescue with a bag of fruit, and I had some chicken when I got home. Failed planning really and subsequently I have a vice-like headache today.0 -
I tried Paul McKenna years ago the weight loss one n truthfully his voice give me the best nights sleep ever
count backwards zzzzz I never did it properly
I tried his 'I Can Make You Thin' thing a few years back, and his hypno-trance voice kept making me laugh, because it sounded like he was growling. Hardly putting me in a zen like state.... maybe because I'm simply too childish?!:Dgingerfurball wrote: »I got my first "I haven't seen you in a while...you look great...have you lost loads of weight"
Yay! That must have felt brilliant, well done! Isn't it nice to know all that plodding on works?
Well it's been a busy morning for me, jump-starting son #1's fiance's car, that took ages to do. Then I had to collect #1 son from work, because he's still unwell (got an ongoing mystery vomiting illness that's been going on for about 4 months now). So breakfast was as I was going out the door, and just had a late brunch.
I think I'll have a green day today, something like this:
B - banana, muller greek yogurt 0.5 syns
L - leftover savoury rice with veg, mullerlight magic porridge HeB1, kiwi fruit
D - SW chips, eggs, bacon HeB2, Heinz Five baked beans & grated cheese HeA2, & pickled onions. Ketchup 2 syns satsuma.
HeA1 - milk in drinks all day
Supper - highlights hot chocolate 2 syns
Total syns = 4.5
Hmmm, that's a bit low on syns really, so maybe I'll have a biscuit with my hot choc as an indulgent treat, so an extra 4.5 syns for an M&S shortbread biccie:j
Well done on the losses coming in.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Sary I never got to that part lol take deep breaths n count backwards n I'd be snoring haha
Gfb - well donebet ur smiling still
Line is drawn and I think I still have syns left for the weekStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
WI for me today.
Lost 1lb. not sure how because I have been off plan for 5 days. Total loss for Jan 4.5lbs so happy with that.
I am aiming for 11lb loss by the end of July when I have a nice 'occasion' to go to.
Well done to those who lost this week and hugs to those who are struggling.
BTW Paul Mckenna could not make me sleep with his 'sleep' cd but the ICMYTS one sent me off nicely. I like his voice but got to know the cd off by heart after a while and rather than relaxing I was waiting for him to say the next bit that I had already said in my head.! I do think he is really good at addressing emotional eating tho' so good luck and I hope it helps. x0 -

That's a lovely feeling isn't it? A real NSV.
Last week I left my friend and DH in the car while I nipped into the Post Office. The woman in front of me in the queue was really slim but dressed much the same as me. When I got back they'd mistaken her coming out for me!!:rotfl:Specsavers came to mind but I was pleased anyway!Wow - a moment to savour Ginger!

At least what you did eat was on plan.:)
I think your target is absolutely doable. I found about 1.5lbs a week was my average and that included going off plan for holidays. You might find it takes less than a year. SW does tend to work in half stones (with stickers) so that's one way of doing it. Then we have our little challenges on here. Some people go on dress sizes but they can be a bit random. Good Luck!!
I'm off out again tonight so off plan for the rest of the day. So far I've had 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, squash and a banana.
I'm determined to go to WI tomorrow. My jeans feel as if I'm still within target range so hope I haven't gained too much.0
