    Morning all

Well done on those losses folks :T and hugs to all those having hospital/GP visits or bad news ..... seems to be a lot of that happening on here at the moment... lets hope it stops soon for everyone.

Well Im reporting in with a 1.5lb loss this week -which Im very happy with as it's * week and I feel like I have swallowed a beach ball :rotfl:. So I have 2.5lb to shift for my Valentines target of 21lbs....so "touch wood" that should be achievable .

Whilst I remember I have seen those MacCain rustic thingies in Morrisons last night and on the Ocado site -bit on offer at 2 for £3 if it helps anyone.

Im thinking of having a simple EE day - which Might look like this:-
    500ml semi (hexAx2)
    pear
    wholemeal cob HexB
    bacon

    12 speed soup
it has loads of onions, peppers and carrots in so should cover my 1/3SF
    fruit

    1 pot wonder:-
    SW sausages
    carrots
    onions
    potato
    beans

that still leaves me all my syns though... I will have a ponder today as Im thinking of going back to using my syns weekly like I used to before -I seem to find it easier to use them that way ;)

Im hoping to get some more decorating done tonight -well it is body magic I guess :p -once that room is done I have Charlies room to do and then the living and dining rooms need a freshen up *sigh* -just in case anyone is about to do some decorationg B&Q have the Dulux endurance paint on offer -£25.99 a 2.5lt tin or 2 for £25 :D -I have decided to give this a go as it is washable and with a 22month old I NEED it :rotfl:

Right -time to stop yapping and get my brekkie (and Charlies 2nd brekkie :p)
Hope everyone is feeling better soon...have a great day

Great losses Mumoftwo & Mrs McCawber!

Mrs McCawber well done on the target chase :)

Mumoftwo would be interested to hear how that goes and what you think of the book!

I had a hypnotherapy gastric band session about a year and a half ago.

It worked for about a week and it took me half an hour to eat my breakfast the next day - I didn't loose any weight though as I don't think I was eating enough and then it wore off.

Its a constant battle isn't it ! Oh to be naturally slim or have a high metabolism !

1.5lb off for me this week, thank you 2b

I am going to take a break from SW this week as I have been reading Paul McKenna's Hynpnotic Gastric Band book and Freedom from Emotional Eating so I have followed his 4 rules for the last 2 days.

I really want to stop dieting and stop my battle with food for good. The constant thinking about food and the feeling of failure when I give in to eating something the diet (any diet) says I shouldn't is getting me down.

I don't know if it will work, I will keep SW in the back of my mind though. I will see what this week will bring.

:T on the loss. I've found that over time the SW way of eating becomes a habit. What I love about it is that it's just a common-sense, healthy plan. So no feeling hungry, nothing banned and all the foods we know aren't good for us as just occasional treats.

    I'm still here lantanna ;)

I'm just sore not pain sore more a bruised sore

Rattling from painkillers and antibiotics and have fell off sw big time :/
(Bit scared of eating as I don't know what sets it off? - not Chinese or chocolate cake anyway :/) debating drawing a line but I am genuinely not sure

Food tastes different since starting sw - I used to love crunchy but cornflakes :( used to :(

Right have to go have more tablets and sort minime out

Re Chinese - I'm still counting values as I've always done? I lost eating chow mein counting it as 7.5 n my Chinese haven't changed the recipe so I'm refusing to change it ;)

This thread is filling with names I recognise from ttc and lurking in parenting years ago

Couldn't agree more. I don't really think about "junk" food these days - in fact the last time DH had fish & chips I pinched a chip and it was disgusing - soft, floppy & greasy, yuk!

I really don't miss takeaways, not that we used to have them often but I actually prefer my food cooked the SW way now.

When we go out I can often be quite boring and just have something like steak, jacket, onions, mushrooms & salad:A,

that is definately true most of the time. I think mug shots and pasta in sauce are not the best and pretending a baked roll is a donut just doesn't fool me :rotfl:

I have just 30 years of struggle with weight and diets and just got heavier, lost it, put it back on etc. And for me it's the feeling of failure again and again. And I am an emotional eater. I have a lot of stress in my life so I am trying to deal with the reasons WHY I am obese and trying to stop beating myself up over losing this diet war.

This thread is full of people who write that they have "cheated" or not done so well week after week and they might be able to shrug it off and do better the next week. For me it's like oh well, I didn't stick to the plan, sod it and then go on a binge for a week.
Not sure if I am explaining it well.

I think out of all the diets SW is the better one. WW with all the propoints counting drove me crazy and even more obsessed, standing there with my scales, trying to weigh out 200 gr of potatoes and some chicken, it does work for some people.

I like this thread a lot, I love the support and the kindness and still want to finish the challenge but I am going to see if Paul McKenna's trance voice can make me a bit more relaxed about food ;)

    Hi ladies,
Gosh it moves fast on here I can't keep up!!

    Today's plan: extra easy
B - mini weetbix with milk (HEA and B)
L - pasta with tom sauce (home made)
D - eggs, chips (SW) and beans

Snacks - fruit and yoghurts (aldi I have to admit!)
    SYNS - chocolate treat tonight.

Still can't understand why the aldi yoghurts have Syns when they are the same nutritionally as mullerlight? Is this a ploy to make us buy mullerlight?
Gosh I am so massively shocked t the syn value of the pasta sauces I asked about. No wonder the scales aren't moving. I knew there would be syns because of the sugar and oil but thought it would be low!

Hope you all have a great day!
