Well have done my shopping list & sat - weds I'll be doing success express.

Hopefully after the Chinese last night and a night out tonight the shock of success express will get things moving again lol

Beanie - well done on your loss !
  • Morning all...hugs to all who need them.

Weigh in this morning 3lb off this week Delighted with that...that see me with 12 off altogether and if I get 2 next week my stone off. As we're travelling to England next week for work I want to see that off before we go...the weekend normally includes a good bit of socialising (they wine and dine us a lot!) which I normally look forward to but this time I'm a bit anxious as sometimes it's a meal out (which I can control) but sometimes it's at someones house which means the food is totally out of my hands...and it would be really rude to turn food away. Ah well - I'll jump off that bridge when I get to it!

    Food today:

B: 2 boiled eggs, ML and fruit
L: ham and cheese salad sandwich ML and fruit
D: a ginger, chilli turkey concoction of mine with rice and stir fry veg.

Dry January finishes today...but I'm in no rush to get the corkscrew out again...we'll see how that goes!

    Morning :)

Sorry to hear about your rubbish doctor Mrs Ryan :(
Someone lost 4lb - amazing well done (sorry I can't remember who)

Didn't manage to pop in yesterday. In fact I didn't manage to do much yesterday as we spent all day running about! Which invariably meant a 'not-so-good-day' I won't dwell on it though.

I am determined to get myself back on plan today and stick to it the rest of the week to avoid any gains.

    Today will be:
    B, scrambled egg and beans.
    L, chicken stir fry.
    S, yoghurt and fruit.
D, pasta n sauce and salad.

All free so I will still have my HE and all my syns to use at some point through the day.

I will also aim to do a 25min jog on the treadmill later.

I hope everyone has a good SW day :)
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Getting pretty fed up to be honest with these stuck stages! It gets very frustrating after a while and I kind of feel like the pressure of being a bridesmaid later in the summer is really getting to me.

Lantanna - I used to go through stages where I was just staying the same week in week out and my consultant suggested that I just mix the plans up a bit and do a mix of Red, Green and EE which seemed to sort it out.

Another thing worth trying is mixing up your HEBs a bit and not sticking to just bread and/or cereal every day. There's a long list of other things you can have.

Our consultant gave us a challenge of having a different HEB every day for a week and for the ONE AND ONLY TIME EVER I lost 2.5lb that week - I have always been a very slow loser - only 0.5 or l lb a week.

Couple of things you could try to get out of that maintaining stage.

I posted yesterday regarding the large amounts of sugar in fat free yoghourts. Although 12 people have thanked me for the post, I am a wee bit surprised nobody has commented. I was really shocked to see that they had much more sugar than ordinary yoghourts.

I can't get my head around how these can be Free or maybe just 1 syn.

Well done lantanna, I've always found that food planning was a good way of lifting myself after a bad WI. Its a good way of practically going upwards and onwards.

If you like it, one tip for Success Express (or Red plan) is to have mashed swede or swede and carrot mash instead of potatoes with cottage pie or sausages or whatever. It keeps up the SFs.

I've had my porage breakfast, I'm planning some fruit for lunch but off out for supper.

Didn't mean to ignore you but I don't eat yogurt so hadn't really thought about it. I've heard that many low fat products have sugar added to compensate for taste. Could it be that the sugars are sweeteners so hence low syn?
