But as a snack the rest of the day? Its 99 calories or something for a muller light I'd rather have a kitkat n syn it?
I normally have a couple in the fridge but not my first choice of snack never has been

    Weekend is nearly here!

MrsRyan I hope your nose is feeling better and I'm sorry to hear your doctor is so horrible!

Well done to all you losers! Hugs to everyone that needs them.

This week I've lost -2lbs please 2b! Very pleased considering it was * week.

First weekend I can drink again as I have been doing dry January, so hoping to stay in control!

why do women have to suffer from *week? I think our creator must have hated women :(

    Totally Agreed!

Or because they knew women could handle it and men clearly couldn't!!!!!!!!!

Lantanna - I used to go through stages where I was just staying the same week in week out and my consultant suggested that I just mix the plans up a bit and do a mix of Red, Green and EE which seemed to sort it out.

Another thing worth trying is mixing up your HEBs a bit and not sticking to just bread and/or cereal every day. There's a long list of other things you can have.

Our consultant gave us a challenge of having a different HEB every day for a week and for the ONE AND ONLY TIME EVER I lost 2.5lb that week - I have always been a very slow loser - only 0.5 or l lb a week.

Couple of things you could try to get out of that maintaining stage.

    Denise

Thanks very much for this Denise! Defo lots to think about and lots to try :)
  • Day off today, unfortunately I am searching for nice snacks despite bacon, mushrooms and poached egg for dinner. Had asda online yesterday and free pack of sharon fruit, packet said how to eat (didn't have a clue) and have just munched too, very sweet, bit of a cross between an apricot and a nectarines type texture. Now eaten 2, desperate to save syn's for rum and diet coke tonight.

Didn't mean to ignore you but I don't eat yogurt so hadn't really thought about it. I've heard that many low fat products have sugar added to compensate for taste. Could it be that the sugars are sweeteners so hence low syn?

Says fructose, sugar and sweeteners on the tub. Sweeteners are calorie free. So it's the sugar and fructose then.

They're supposed to be free of syns. Some have half or 1 syn.

Penny lane they may be syn free but they still have calories? Just like the half syn cake - it may be half a syn but its calorie laden so its not good to eat a lot of it?
My point was if I'm fancying choc and trying to convince myself to have a muller instead id rather syn choc at a similar calorie rate than eat 'Syn free' just because its free?

I don't believe u can eat unlimited free stuff free doesn't mean no calories?!

I posted yesterday regarding the large amounts of sugar in fat free yoghourts. Although 12 people have thanked me for the post, I am a wee bit surprised nobody has commented. I was really shocked to see that they had much more sugar than ordinary yoghourts.

I can't get my head around how these can be Free or maybe just 1 syn.

That does seem to be a strange phenomenon? I must admit I don't often eat yoghurt as i'm not a cold food lover:cool: I have never even read the side of a yoghurt pot and have just blindly trusted SW to do the job of telling me which ones to get, if I have ever bought any.

I didn't bother with my chicken in the stir fry. I just had the stir fry veg. Right best be off to collect the squids.

Thanks for your reply.:) I do understand that but at SW we don't count calories but we do count syns.:question:
