Lost 0.5lbs today which I'm happy with seeing as I could have eaten Cadbury World last night!
Hubby away tonight so I will get a takeaway then my line is drawn & shopping will be delivered & soup making will begin in earnest

) maybe saved myself for WI. I won't be surprised if I bury myself in food tomorrow night though - something's got to give
My WI starts at 9.30 & class starts at 10.15. I used to have brekkie afterwards, but now I have to rush off to work, so have to eat something in the class (when I stay)
Hope you're ok and that your weigh-in went ok (just saw your post, well done, a loss is a loss) Enjoy your take away0 -

I have never had one! Nor ever seen one in real life! Don't think I will have one though as it could be the start of a trail of destruction if I do like them lol !!!!!!!!!!!!
make sure you avoid the co-op then as they are on offer for £2 at the moment.:p

Really sorry to hear that, and hope you're okay? I'm another who thinks it can be good to share it with someone. I'm not one to naturally share very personal stuff, but when I have, the support I've had really did help. Have a dodgy :hugs:On wi day I drink water until 2pm and then stop. I get weighed at 5.30pm. I've always done this so try to keep it the same.
I don't think it matters what you do but do the same every weight for consistency!
I WI at 6.30pm, and tend to stop drinking fluid after 3pm on the day I go. Just to give me the chance to have a decent pee before I go, and give myself a fighting chance of at least a STS! I can be 3-4lb heavier later in the day having taken on a lot of fluid during the day, and do tend to drink quite a bit, so I know it can affect me. Consistency is what I aim for too.Thank you!
Neither had any in so syns saved there!
Do you know which supermarket has the lowest syn slices please? I can get to all the main ones pretty easily and would love to split some for my freezer so I can have 1-2 slices whenever?
Tesco : Garlic Bread Slices, chilled, reduced fat 9 pack, 29g slice 4½ 4½ 4½
Sainsbury's: Be Good to Yourself Garlic Bread Slices, chilled 9 pack, 1 slice 4½ all plans
Asda: Chosen by You Garlic Baguette Slices, 30% Less Fat, frozen 12 pack, 30g slice 4 all plans
Chosen by You Garlic Ciabatta Slices, Mini, chilled 10 pack, 20g slice 3½ all plans
Co-Op : Garlic Bread Slices, frozen 10 pack, 26g slice 4 all plans
Morrisons: NuMe Garlic Bread Slices, chilled 9 pack, 1 slice 4½ all plans
I'd be tempted to use a HeB bread choice, and make my own with some low fat spread, garlic and mixed herbs. They're practically a Freddo's worth, or other nice treat worth of syns in one measly slice.
pollysg I'm afraid the mushroom bulgar wheat isn't free. Here's what's on the SW site: Amazing Grains Wild Mushroom Bulgar Wheat , 150g box EE 7 Original 26½ Green 7
Lohman Is it these jars?
Specially Selected Calabrese Pasta Sauce jar, 350g jar 12½ 12½ 12½
Specially Selected Siciliana Pasta Sauce jar, 350g jar 12 12 12
Specially Selected Toscana Pasta Sauce jar, 350g jar 15 15 15
The yogurts aren't free, but are low in syns:
Brooklea Light Fat Free Cherry Yogurt , 180g pot 1 1 1
Brooklea Light Fat Free Mango & Passionfruit Yogurt , 180g pot 1½ 1½ 1½
Brooklea Light Fat Free Natural Yogurt , per 100g Free Free Free
Brooklea Light Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt , 180g pot 1½ 1½ 1½
Brooklea Light Fat Free Toffee Yogurt , 180g pot 3½ 3½ 3½
The one with chocolate flakes in it is 2 syns.
MrsRyan  Oh my gawd! Poor you. I hope you're feeling okay today, and not too sore.
Mildredd Hope you feel better today, and hugs to you too.
Some great losses coming in from WI's, well done guys!
I had WI last night, and as I'd mentioned, * week has just started so wasn't hopeful for more than a STS, so was very pleased to get a -1lb loss (thanks 2b). My sister had another STS, and wasn't happy to be 'stuck'. I suspect she ate too little in the early weeks, which isn't easy to sustain, and is now feeding her appetite more, and real life is getting in the way more, which is making it harder. I think her OH likes very indulgent food, which means she's trying to appease him with meals to suit his needs, more than her's (even though she's trying to do SW ones for him too).
I went off to my cake club last night, and my cake turned out okay, if not terribly pretty. I worked out that a slice was less than 200cals, but still 9.5 syns for 1/8 cake on EE. Not worth it in my book.
Here's today's plan : Green
B - porridge HeB1 + 25g extra porridge 4.5 syns, Milk part of HeA1
L - Savoury Rice 1.5 syns, leeks, cabbage, carrots.
D - Spaghetti carbonara 2.5 syns for sauce + HeA2 milk, onions, garlic, mushrooms, bacon HeB2, parmesan 1.5 syns
Total syns: 10
Snacks : apple, kiwi fruit, mullerlight
The carbonara sauce is a Schwartz packet that I'm sharing with 2 of the children, and is 7 syns for the whole pack. I'm using part of my milk allowance to make it up with, but I tend to use a half water/milk when making it. However, I have some fat free natural fromage frais, and may have a go at the SW recipe off the website. has anyone else had it? If so, will it get past the children test?
I might even have a Options hot choc later too. Whoo! get me living life on the wild sideOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

Thanks again for checking up on me.
I got the cream cracker syn value from the list I downloaded when I joined. Just checked the new list online and it is still saying 1.5 for all varieties, doesn't mention reduced fat.
Cream crackers,
all varieties 1.5 1.5 1.5
Thanks for the heads up re ML lemon cheesecake yogurt - I really should pay more attention! They are scrummy, by the way.
I think it's amazing how you keep on top of everything here. This forum is much better than any group I've ever been to - it's much more personal and there is ALWAYS someone to hold your hand. Thanks.
Bobbie
1lb loss for me please, 2b Happy with that. I won't make the 7lbs, but it's the right direction. Keep up the good work, 2b.
I checked the syns on LifelineOnline, not sure where you got your list from? It seems that you need to check not only if they are reduced fat but also for which shop you bought them from, LOL!
Jacob's, Cream Crackers , each 2 2 2
Sainsbury's, Cream Crackers , each 2 2 2
Tesco, Cream Crackers , each 2 2 2
Tesco, Cream Crackers, reduced fat , each 1½ 1½ 1½
Co-op, Cream Crackers , each 2 2 2
Morrisons, Cream Crackers , each 2 2 2
Morrisons, Cream Crackers, reduced fat , each 1½ 1½ 1½
Asda, Chosen by You Cream Crackers , each 1½ 1½ 1½
... and that's just the first page of 4!

Thanks Sary.
Does anyone have a low syn garlic bread recipe/tip please?
Also if anyone could get me the syns for Beef and Tomato Maggi 3 minute noodles, I would be eternally grateful. I bought some as they looked like a good deal today but if £ saved are proportionate to lbs on, I will give them away!!0 -
Hi There! I've just found this thread and thought I'd say hello! I started back at SW on 8th Jan and lost 3lbs first week and 1lb second. WI night is tomorrow but I had a shocking weekend :-( . Hopefully I'll stay the same BUT I NEED to lose approx 21lbs before I see my neurologist on 28th Feb, so I'm back on track and hope to find lots of inspiration here! I'll update my sig once I work out how again :-)Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D
Every day is a new challenge not a new problem!:p
