I had a very crap day, ended up eating 25 syns instead of 15most the other days I have only been like 5 syns so hoping it will be ok for weigh in on weds, I really want to loose something!
Does anyone else have a morning class? Most the weigh ins seem to be in the evening, but mine is 9.30am!
I always have breakfast after
I have a 9.30 group and I think denise has a morning WI too. I have my lightest breakfast every week (Shreddies) before WI so as lantanna says I'm consistent. Loads of people bring their breakfast with them and sit eating it during Image Therapy (aka mindless clapping).rainbowfairydust wrote: »definatley not :rotfl:.I find using syns pretty easy:rotfl::rotfl:. I will see if i can find my post about syn treat suggestions.:)
polly, if you don't want to use syns as treats then have some meals that use them like some cornflour in sauces or some cheese topping on pasta. The plan is designed to use them so you shouldn't just ignore them.
Slight change of plan here. Supper doesn't need to be so early and it's bitterly cold. So I'm going to do some colcannon type mash instead of new potatoes with the ham. Extra SFs and a bit more comforting.Oh no Mildredd- that's awfulhope u better soon!
You aren't the only one that had to do the A&E dash- I got up to use the loo on Sat night, blacked out and fell on my face breaking my nose in the processjust in the process of being discharged from hospital now
So sorry to hear that MrsR and poor mildredd as well. Hope you both feel better very soon.0 -

Do you know which supermarket has the lowest syn slices please? I can get to all the main ones pretty easily and would love to split some for my freezer so I can have 1-2 slices whenever?0 -
Breakfast - bacon, egg, tinned tomatoes and mushrooms in fry light
Dinner - Tuna pasta salad (1) and a fruit salad of pineapple, apple and kiwi.
Tea - SW speedy bolognese.
So I've stuck to this so far, can I ask a couple of questions please?
I stuck HEXA reduced fat cheese on my bolognese, how many syns are in Asda 1% milk per 100ml please? I have used 200 already and have 100 left for a chocolate tonight.
In my breakfast, my plate was half superfree, probably more as I just trimmed 3 normal rashers of bacon and poached one egg, and had with two plum tomatoes in their juice and 3 frylighted (frylit?) chopped mushrooms.
For dinner, at least 70% was SF - lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sliced peppers, gherkins, pickled onioms, spring onions and beetroot. I had half a tin of tuna, a handful of pasta shapes and one syn of extra light mayonnaise on top of this. I followed this up with 1/4 of a pineapple, a kiwi and an apple mixed in a pot.
For tea, my bolognese sauce was a SW recipe; 1/4 of 500g extra lean beef mince, 4 trimmed rashers of smoked bacon, garlic, 1 onion, 1 carton passata, 1 tin chopped tomatoes, 3 celery sticks, 1 carrot, 250g mushrooms and 4 tbsp of tomato puree. To me, this is at least 50/50 superfree. I had my HEXA cheese on it and about 100g spaghetti.
As I have overdone SF foods all day, as I tend to, do I need any more or can I have my supper of an options hot chocolate and either an Alpen Light or Ryvita Minis guilt free?0 -

Still struggling like mad - will still weigh in tonight as paid for a countdown but seriously not got much motivation at the moment - even the raffle prizes that I've brought for tonight look like carp!

MRSMC just seen your fart soup query, sorry.
I have just *ahem* brewed up a batch, I understand this to be the original dynorod recipe:
1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
Handful of split lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 medium carrots
2 parsnips
Green, red & yellow pepper
2 beef or chicken or vegetable stock cubes
Salt pepper
Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Simmer til soft, blend if you like...
The Tops are a two person household so we don't own a pan big enough for this! I get round it by loading it into the slow cooker and putting it on high for 4 hours. I also add crushed chillies and garlic depending on my mood0 -
