I actually didn't have the couscous salad - too miserable and cold here - and had some lovely homemade tomato soup leftover from yesterday and a banana at lunchtime. I'm making a big fruit salad so that should help - and keep me away from the trifle too.
oh and yesterday I also had grapes, mango, pineapple & melon during the day.

Can I join,lost two stone with slimming world trying to get back to pre Christmas weight .Was 12stone 12 and a half pounds two weeks before Christmas then had a weeks holiday in hotel followed by Christmas and new year .I am now 13stone 1 pound .Found it very hard recently think I am eating extra syns with out realizing it .Maintained my weight last Thursday any advice welcomed thanks.0

L: Carrot and coriander soup, krisprolls (hexb) and cheese (hexa)Rice and veg stuffed peppers in a tomato sauce served with roast tattie's and veg
Snacks: none so far, might have a soya dessert with fruit after dinner
Can anyone recommend scales? Yesterday I went on mine five times in a row, and got three different weights, with 1lb difference between lightest and heaviest.0 -

Snack - alpen light (3 syns)
L - Riso Gallo mushroom risotto (dried - free) with added leeks, mushrooms, peppers, peas, broccoli and asparagus spears. Halved with hubby.
Snack - Cadbury's Chomp bar (6 syns)

Mine are Salter ones from Amazon. Hi dfh, welcome to the board..
The best thing you can do is write everything down, if you want to, pop your menus on here and someone will be able to check you're not going wrong
You could always ask your consultant to check your food diaries too, she'll be able to point out anywhere where she thinks you're eating extras syns.
By the way, 2.5 lbs gain over a holiday, Xmas and New Year is a win in my book :rotfl:I put on 7lbs!

My weight had crept up and up slowly over the years and when it nearly got to 16 st I thought I had better get a grip of myself so joined SW online last June. I lost nearly 2 stone before Christmas, getting down to 14st 2 and "only" overweight instead of obese. Put on 10lb (I'm rubbish when there are nice things to eat in the house). So, here I am, back on it.
Starting (again) weight was 14st 12.5lb. First weigh in last Monday and I'd lost 5lb. Yay! Only another 2 stone to go to be in the healthy weight range.
Perhaps posting on here will keep me on the straight and narrow??0
