Another half a pound off, really pleased with that because had 2 parties to attend and one big celebration that involved lots of alcohol! Have been struck with the lurgi though since Thursday so not sure what this week will bring because either not been eating at all, taking loads of medication and eating comfort food!

    Good morning everyone

    Well done on the losses

Gawd its awful here..yesterday we had a huge storm -thunder/lightening and hail stones bigger than grapes (but I do love storms-seems Charlie is like mummy as he wanted to sit near the window watching).. but now, well its just manky and wet :(.....

2B- hope your little one is better soon, we have been fairly lucky with Charlies teeth -so far they have been little problem *touch wood* -

 woohoo RedMel....I remember you :D- how ya diddlin?

Well I had a lie in this morning ..thankyou lovely hubby (was nearly 10am when I got up *shhhh*).... so Im too late for brekkie.... my day should look like this:-
    red day -I think...

    500ml semi (hexAx2)

    slow cooked lamb shank (2)
    cauli
    cabbage
    broccoli
    green beans

    fruit

    3 slices wholemeal toast (hexBx2)
    3tsp low fat spread (3)
    poached eggs

    fruit...

now that leaves me a hexA and 10 syns if I need them....

Im really surprised as I fetched the lamb shanks out of the freezer and thought I would bite the bullet and check the syns -I expected them to be quite bad as they are the Tesco restaurant collection but they show on line at 2.5 for half a pack which is 575g  -but I take them off the bone when they are nearly done as we can't eat a whole one each -so these will do me, hubby and then charlie 2 meals... they have roast, carrot, parsnip and onions in too mmmm - I have to say they are £10 -but I got them when they were 3 for 2 ;)

I have potted up my trumpy stew/soup and now have 9 healthy servings in the fridge -hubby is VERY concerned and considering asking for overtime at work :rotfl:

right I had better go and get the veggies under way.... will try and pop back later..
hope everyone has a nice day....

    Morning.

Hi MRSM, I'm great thanks. Hope you, hubby and baby are all well. Have you settled back into the UK ok now :)

    Sooooo
I did a sneaky weight check this morning:cool: only because friday night and yesterday weren't exactly on plan and I wanted to check the damage. Surprisingly the scales were showing a 1/2lb loss. I am ecstatic/relieved and it has spurred me on to be super good and aim for 1.5lb off on Wednesday, which will give me my 1/2st award.

With that in mind today will be:
    B, Banana
    S, Yoghurt
    L, jacket spud, philly(A), salad.
    S, tangerines, apple.
D, chicken fried rice, chips, curry sauce(5syns.)
    S, 1 toast, marge(2syns) marmite.

I aim aiming for 1.5 litres of water/squash alongside my numerous cups of tea. That will be a lot for me as I am useless at drinking anything other than tea!

I am also going to start the C25K today:)

Have a lovely day everyone xx

    Happy Sunday everyone.

Looks a bit light on SFs to me you really need to include extra fruit and veg to your plan.

I'm having another EE day, have DD1 and DGD staying at the moment.

    B - SW fryup
L - HM carrot soup, 2 slices WM bread (HEB)
D - Chicken, roast potatoes, roast veg, green beans; HM chicken gravy (about 1 Tbs) 1 syn

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day

Not sure what other syns I'll have but not too many and need to pull back a few if I can.

I had my eyes tested during the week and the optometrist phoned and wants me back today (it's at Asda) because he saw a spot on the back of my eye on the photo they took and wants to double check, it could be a little haemorrhage  so I am a bit worried about that.

Please do not panic! I had the same when I went for my eye test earlier this month. My optician explained that we can have birthmarks, moles and freckles on our eyes. So it may not be something sinister. She has sent me to a specialist to get it checked out - I go at the end of February.

    Thank you!
I have been and re-checked. He took another photo of the back of my eye and it was still there although it was very faint. He said the concern is why it was there and has written a referral letter to my GP, need to get checked for diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure. All the things that come with being obese.
So it is definately a wake up call for me to finally stop making excuses and lose this flab

    Afternoon all..

Didn't wake up until 10.30 this morning:eek: so skipped breakfast.. I must have been exhausted!

Thanks denise for helping out with the tsps question.. I was going to say about 2 heaped tsps but I wasn't quite sure!

Welcome back redmel.. :hello: according to some studies tea is part of our water intake, as long as your pee is light yellow then you're drinking enough.

2b - if you need any help then give me a shout..
