    Hi toomuchworry,

I must admit I didn't stick to the 10-15 syns per day - I tried to limit my daily syns to less than 5 and did much the same as Maman and 'banked' my syns for 'weekend wine'. Not the true SW line but it worked for me ;).

Sounds like a good plan to me :D

  • MRSMCAWBER, my soup recipe is very similar to yours;

    1 can mixed bean salad
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 can baked beans
    Handful of split lentils
    2 large leeks
    1 large onion
    2 large carrots
    2 parsnips
    Green, red or yellow pepper
    stock cubes or Bovril
Mixed herbs/Garlic - I usually use the Schwartz Italian garlic seasoning
    Chilli flakes
Just enough boiling water to cover it all.

TIE, hope you are feeling better by now.

Cherryscone, will nothing else 'carby' help? Jacket pot/pasta/banana even? If not, just have some bread and syn it. Ypu are still in control if you are counting!

    Today's Green Day

Brunch - 2 slices of Cinnamon French toast (HEBx2), topped with strawberries, kiwi, blueberries and a drizzle of vanilla mullerlight. It was A-MAZ-ING!!

    Snack - Tobelerone mini (1.5syns)

Dinner - Sweet potato and chickpea curry, rice. Frozen greek style mango mullerlight (0.5 syns).

It was me :D and weirdly I had it tonight.

I made a small portion and measured out the paste, 20g was 106 calories according to MFP so I am going to count it as 5 syns (not really worth it but still better than getting a takeaway)

Been out all day today so rather late posting today. It was another EE day today, much easier with having to feed 3 others as well as myself:

B - Magic porridge with banana
L - HM beef stew - was mainly veg - at my DD2s
D - Steak, SW chips, onions & mushrooms; watermelon

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - red wine x 2 = 12

    Hello :)

I hope no one minds me joining in. I have been here before, many years back, but fell off the wagon when having my two youngest kiddies. I tried to get back on plan after having my daughter but she has been such hard work I have been too exhausted or stressed to really get in the mindset needed.

She is now 3.5yrs old and still extremely hard work, however, she is at preschool 9-3 each day and I am at university. I kind of feel a bit more 'in control' of life now so now is the time to tackle the weight.

I joined a group 2 weeks ago and lost 3lb in week, 2.5lb in week 2. I have just bought a treadmill tonight so fingers crossed I can make some time to use it, and I also started rollerblading a couple of weeks ago too.: unfortunately the rubbish UK weather oftens means it is irregular, short bursts out and about.

I am going to have a nosy back at some posts and subscribe so I don't lose you all:)
