* day to be precise so hopeful that is a significant factor!greentiger wrote:Chin up, Top Girl, you'll get back on track.
Thank you. Alas, it is more like CHINS up todayMRSMCAWBER wrote:TopGirl -you know that you can't have actually put on 5lb of actual fat, so I bet a lot of it will be fluid etc... It should drop away this week. I know it's difficult but don't get down about it -you will soon whip it off again...
I did eat a lot of chippy on Wed, but I agree with you, hopefully most of it is me doing my camel routine and next week will be better!Shala_Moo wrote:Topgirl, if you weren't expecting that gain then big hugs.. as MrsMc says, it won't be pure fat though, so hopefully it'll come off pretty darn quickly if you keep at it..
I hope not, a night off to wallow tonight, tomorrow is another day.crafty_witch wrote:Have you done more exercise than you usually do? Apparently if you up your activity it can cause significant fluid retention, so may be it.
I wish. I'm pretty sure it's * day/week for a good half of it!
Thank you all. I'm having exactly what I fancy to eat tonight to round off a rotten week, then getting bang on track with superfart soup tomorrow and hopefully starting exercising again on Tues :j:j:j0 -

Sorry, I got a little distracted before and left the thread before I could reply about my consultant allowing me 20 syns - I found this on another forum where people where talking about it too:
http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/263090-20-syns-per-day.html
I don't always use my syn maximum, but it's nice to know they're there if I need them
Just wanted to say a massive thanks for everyone welcoming me to the thread too and making me feel at home!
I nearly forgot to say, I had weigh in last night - I've had a wonderful 3lb loss this week, 8lb last week on my first weigh in & I feel like I'm off to a great startNot only that but I won Slimmer of the Week too, so got a lovely certificate and a basket full of goodies, proper loads of stuff...I was so chuffed
(In my group everyone takes a food item as a prize for slimmer of the week, do all groups do this? Just curious)
Well done to all the losers this week, and anyone who's struggling good luck for the week ahead!0 -

Ours is mainly fruit and veg but occasionally people put in syn free foods or low syn foods (usually if they've run out of fresh fruit & veg!) such as tin of tuna or baked beans, pack of pink 'n' whites - we've even had someone bring in half dozen eggs from her own chickens!

Thanks for that but it wasn't just belvita biscuits, I had too much bread too..
I did only have 2 of the belvita biscuits - I really don't understand them for breakfast though, I'd just feel cheated if I had them everyday, how do people exist on them!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Afternoon all, after reaching my target a few years ago and then losing my way I have decided to sign up again on Monday. Does anyone know if there are any deals hanging around at the moment for no joining fee etc?
Hiya! I think I remember you from earlier threads :hello: There is an offer in Reveal magazine, I can't remember what it is exactly as I skimmed over it, but I think you only have to pay £4.95 and not any joining fee. I left the mag at work so can't check until Monday. HTH and welcome back to the thread0 -
I'm not aware of any current offers I think you've missed the ones earlier in the month.:( You could go it alone with your old books but I'm sure a fresh start would help.I know there is a voucher in Reveal magazine, so think you can join for £4.95 but you will need to check as not sure how long it is valid for but a few people joined my group today with them
Thank you both! Maman, I need to weekly weigh in to keep me on the straight and narrow sadly. I'm happy to cheat myself but it's harder when someone else sees the numbers
I'll have a look in reveal to see if I can see a voucher.0 -
