    Morning all

well done on the losses :j and chin up to those not getting the results they would like...
hello to the new joiners :hello: and to the lady (sorry I can't remember your name:o) who is embarrassed by her weight -don't worry about it... I have loads to lose too.... you can do it ;)

TopGirl -you know that you can't have actually put on 5lb of actual fat, so I bet a lot of it will be fluid etc... It should drop away this week. I know it's difficult but don't get down about it -you will soon whip it off again...

Mrs-Ryan -hope your pain subsided enough for you to get back to sleep.....

As for the "bunged up" subject have you tried warm water with lemon juice in? you need to have it first thing in the morning so it goes down unhindered.... but gawd does it work . I don't usually have a problem as I eat so much fruit n veg -but if ever I need to then lemon juice is my solution ;)

Well yesterday was EE and looked like this:-
    oat so simple (hexB+2syns)
    500ml semi (hexAx2)
    apple
    WW lasagne (5.5)
    pear
    2 boiled eggs
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    celery
    peppers
    onion
    fresh boiled reetboot

    clementine
    plum
    nectarine
    boiled egg

now I should have had some extra super free at lunch time but to be honest Im just about managing to get the meal down me -Im thinking I may have to half a meal and then have some super free (I can always have the other half of the meal for my supper;).. but all in all at least I managed my hexA+Bs and 5.5syns :D

today will hopefully look like this, Im thinking green today:-

    500ml semi (hexAx2)
    grapefruit
    WW shepherds pie (4.5)
    carrots
    apple
    40g low fat cheddar (A)
    40g low fat cheddar (B)
    60g wholemeal cob (B)
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    celery
    onions
    pepprs
    reetboot

so thats my hexA+Bs and 4.5 syns used.

MrsLady -we are the same -I had a shop delivered yesterday (ooh and tesco have their cox's on offer at £1 and when they came you cot 50% extra free :j) anyway I had :-
    1. 3 bags apples (36 in total)
    2. 14 pears
    3. 2 pots plums
    4. 10 nectarines
    5. 500g black grape
    6. 500g red grapes
    7. 200g cherries
    8. 10 bananas
    9. pineapple
    10. 4 red grapefruit.
      2 bags clementines
and if they last the week I will be surprised :o -now the nannas, cherries and the bulk of the grapes are Charlies -along with whatever else he want from the other fruit (which will be lots :p)and hubby doesn't often bother with anything but an occasional apple -but we still get through fruit like we are running a zoo,,,, can't wait to get on the allotment I am having the Biggest strawberry bed and rasberry hedge I can find room for :rotfl:

Im sorry that I will have missed out loads of things I saw yesterday and meant to comment on -but I have "baby brain" :rotfl: better get off for now and see what the little munchkin is up too.....
    Have a good day everyone....

  • Morning all - WI this morning (anyone else get butterflies!! It's ridiculous...so nervous!) and2 lb off giving me 9 for the 3 weeks (it teetered on 3 but I'll leave that for next week :D )

Happy with that because I can't believe I'm eating 3 meals a day and snacks and losing weight! (I wonder how things will go when I introduce the wine again...a week to go!)

    .

I can't remember who said it the other day (and I don't have baby brain as an excuse:o) but someone said they served up their lunch in two bowls. So they could have two if they fancied or keep one for later, wither a snack or a meal. I though that was a good idea for those who are finding it hard to eat meals and then succumb to snacking on the wrong things.

I often serve up a separate bowl of food (esp veg) when I'm dishing up supper. Then it goes in the fridge so I've always got a stand-by lunch or snack.

Today I've had my HE Shreddies with HEA milk but I'm going out to lunch. It's a sort of gastropub so portions likely to be small even if synful. This has been a very social week and weekend looks similar. At the moment I'm just reining in whenever I can. Delighted to say I had an almost syn free day yesterday.

    Keep plodding ladies.:)

    :Twell done on your 9lbs.

You'll have no problem with wine syns provided you have syn free munchies on hand and don't try to have everything you're having now AND the wine.

What I did getting to target is to make a meal plan which is very low syn for weekdays and then enjoy extra wine syns at weekends. Whatever you decide, make a plan.;)
  • Morning All,

    The weekend is almost here!!

I had weigh in last night -2lb please 2b.
That got me my 1st half stone award last night :)

I had a relaxed meal last night at The Beefeater and was hoping to wake up and be back on it today but I feel awful. The joys of being a woman :(

Have a good weekend all, be good!

    xx

I'm the same as Maman and try to keep my meals syn free or at least very low syn so I've got plenty of syns left for wine! I tend to have extra syns at weekends and then cut back during the week - it seems to work for me as been at target or thereabouts for well over a year now.

Afternoon all, after reaching my target a few years ago and then losing my way I have decided to sign up again on Monday. Does anyone know if there are any deals hanging around at the moment for no joining fee etc?
