You're a star, that made my day! Oooh what can I have tonight? Prob not a lot as I had a small piece of carrot cake at work, dread to think how many syns were in that. I just find it difficult to say no when she had it already cut and on a plate and shoved it under my nose, I ate half and said I was full.0 -
Afternoon all, after reaching my target a few years ago and then losing my way I have decided to sign up again on Monday. Does anyone know if there are any deals hanging around at the moment for no joining fee etc?
I'm not aware of any current offers I think you've missed the ones earlier in the month.:( You could go it alone with your old books but I'm sure a fresh start would help.Hi everyone, currently doing slimming world from home and want to lose around a stone and a half.
Does anyone find it harder to lose this amount of weight compared to i.e 4 stone?
It seems to be more disheartening when you do put on one pound
I'm going to start putting my food on here each day to see if you lovely people can help me see where I might be going wrong! TIA x
I had 3.5 stone to lose and it took 10 months by the scenic route (so off plan on holidays etc.) and I've kept it off for almost 2.5 years. I've always planned on using up all 105 syns every week, if I didn't then it was a mistake.:o The last half stone or so took an age and I did consider mixing up the plans, Success Express and measuring milk properly but instead I just plodded on and got there in the end. I think that unless you've just started or have loads to lose 1 to 1.5lbs a week loss is pretty standard on average but it can be STS one week and 3 the next.
Do post your menus and we'll all help if we can. Are you going to do EE?
I'd call that beef free if I were you sary. Not worth worrying about, especially as you're not planning on having it again.;)0 -
Good evening all
Well done on the losses folks :T
Maman... I must admit I quite often split my evening meal in 2 and often end up with the 2nd half for lunch the following day - so I might have to do the same with the ready meals -although I didn't have to today as Charlie "helped me" even though he had eaten his own lunch :rotfl:
Suze -I kind of understand where you are coming from (not that I have ever been THAT close to my ideal weight) -but in some ways I expect it to be harder as I get lighter. Although on the other hand if you lose 1/2st it will be pretty evident I have lost 17lb in 3 weeks and I honestly can't tell :rotfl:
Well Im back on as I have changed my mind about dinner -Im now having beans on toast (got a sudden fancying)
so that will be
3 slices toast (hexBx2) -I weighed it to make sure it was right :A:p
3tsp I can't believe its not butter -lighter (3)
and beans
that still leaves me a hexA -so I might have some more milk and 7.5 syns... but I think if I need anything after that it will be fruit..
right I had better get off and get my dinner mmmmmmm
have a lovely evening everyone...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Delighted for you beanie
Are you back in target range now?
Great to see all the WI results pouring in.

Sorry been really rubbish at coming here every day again..
I've skim read through, hope everyone's ok.. Topgirl, if you weren't expecting that gain then big hugs.. as MrsMc says, it won't be pure fat though, so hopefully it'll come off pretty darn quickly if you keep at it..
Bit too many syns already todaybut still within calories according to MFP so that's something! Won't post my menu but I've had belvita biscuits as I was starving at work so I dread to think of how many syns that was!!
Will probably go for a walk tonight to make up for the piggyness..
Thanks for the app advice lindens.. quite fancy that one as i'm terrible for not drinking enough!!
Depends which Belvita bars you had, some are as low as 2.5 syns, so it may not be as bad as you thought0 -

Evening all
Hope everyone is well.
Congrats to todays losers:T:T
Today looked like this
B 2 x weetabix (hexb) with milk (hexa) grapefruit
L M&S chilli bean soup (9, count 'em 9!) 2 rounds wholemeal bread (hexb) Bannana, grapes
D Baked sweet potato with cottage cheese and salad.
Really thought the chilli bean soup would be lower in syns than that, looked on the ingredients before I bought it and couldn't see anything other than sugar (waaaay down the list, so can't have been much) that would cause it to be synful!
The moral of the story is, check your syns before you eat it I think:D0 -

I know there is a voucher in Reveal magazine, so think you can join for £4.95 but you will need to check as not sure how long it is valid for but a few people joined my group today with them
2b please can you put me down for STS this week, thanksOfficially debt free :j0
