Hello all. Late post is deliberate. I discovered that, by posting earlier, I had time to eat some bread and jam after all my syns had been accounted for and therefore I didn't need to write it down, so it didn't count! Hmmm, I don't think that actually works.

Anyway, here's my review of Wednesday's plan (please note the bread and jam was on Tuesday so it still doesn't count!)

Breakfast: ff yogurt and fruit - grapes, strawberries and banana
lunch: homememade vegetable soup, didn't bother with the frittata with leftover veg

snacks turned out to be Slimfast caramel treat (4.5, thanks mich_city) and a slice of a wee Allinsons wholemeal loaf (hexb) with a scrape of butter (hexa)

dinner: hmmm - we are going to cinema and will eat out somewhere, venue to be decided.
Went to Frankie and Benny's and ate from their 'lite' menu - prawn skewers (150cal) followed by spag bol (350cal), water to drink. Oh and I may have stolen a couple or 4 onion rings and about 10 wee chips. I didn't have any bread (sigh!) or pudding and I didn't have anything at the cinema, so I'm hoping it's not too bad.

Total Syns 4.5 + Frankie and Bennys

    Thursday's Plan

Breakfast - muesli, apple & milk (hexa and hexb)

Lunch - tuna jacket with salad, pear

Dinner - fish with cherry tomato sauce & sauteed potatoes, ML vanilla yogurt, banana and 25g dried fruit (3.5 syns)

Off to get fish out of freezer right now.

Thanks for the support you give everyone. Sweet dreams all.

    hiya everyone
Im trying to post a bit more regular again but some days are better than others :( Wednesday was productive (well apart from the choccie :o) and I managed a good walk. Tuesday was a bad day but my consultant has suggested the young adults plan for me due to my current situation - there are unlimited HEX's in that (in bread, cereal etc) so I think Tuesday will be one of those days as after trying to resist temptation all day at 11.30 pm I cracked and ate 4 slices of toast :( However Wednesday was an EE day which is all good :) I have 3lbs until my 2 stone then I have to try to maintain till April... I've got the date and the venue now so I just have to try to keep fitting in my dress!!! Im leaving final adjustments as late as possible as I plan to hit EE hard 3 weeks before again.

    Wednesday's menu:
B: 2 Tesco Wheat Biscuits,(HEXB) HEXA semi skimmed, banana, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Pasta carbonara (made with 4 x Laughing Cow Light - 6 syns) and ham
2 Mini Milkybars (7 syns total) pint of NAS cordial
T: Mushy pea curry, Ainsley Harriott Thai Style couscous (2 syns) pint of NAS cordial, punnet of fresh strawberries with Total 0% greek style yoghurt and a raspberry and choc Mullerlight
S: Big bowl of steamed carrots, sprouts and broccoli with loads of Worcester sauce, pint of NAS cordial, cuppa tea with HEXA s/s
    Syns: 15
Body magic: 4 mile walk (so proud of myself for this - it really blew the cobwebs away after a hard afternoon doing uni work)
    Night all xx

Sorry greentiger but "a scrape of butter" isn't a HEA! You need to syn it. Would be great if it was a HEA!

Today's plan is completely off plan:(. DH wants Steak & onion pie:eek: and I can't be bothered to cook something different for me!

    So, sort of, EE today:

    B - banana - after WI
L - beans on toast (HEB), salad
D - pie, mash & veg - will have more veg than pie to try to reduce the damage!

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread
Syns - Pie 11 syns (1/3 of pie) - what a waste of syns!

I'm veggie too and when we have food tastings it's not usually restricted to snacks and nibbles, so I usually take pasta salad, cous cous salad, jambalaya etc.
    However, I've had a think on what I'd take if it was just snacks and nibbles and I've come up with;

Fritata cut up in canape size bites (free).
Smash cheese 'scones' (free but some might say a tweak).
    Veggie breakfast muffins (free)
Smash pizza made into mini ones or cut up. (Syns only in the cheese).
    Onion bhajis (free).
    Loaded potato skins (free).
Lasagne crisps (free but a tweak).
Quorn mini savoury eggs, ready made (2.5syns per egg, 12 in pack).
Chocolate dip and fruit for dipping (2 syns).
Coconut mini maccaroons (works out about 2syns each).
Weetabix cake (syns dependant on size of slices!!!).

Let me know if you want any more info or recipes on the above. Xx

Urgh Cream Crackered today - but on a plus I'm off work tomorrow so today is my Friday!!

Craftwitch - I think it can be a psychological thing in that when you think your spending lots of syns on things it doesn't taste as good of if you weren't thinking about it if you know what I mean!

Mildredd - Maybe a wee plateau, they do come along for me every so often but they will pass!

I got to Stone 1 ok
Stone 1 and Stone 2 was ok as well
Getting from Stone 2 to Stone 3 was hard
Stone 3 to Stone 4 was fine
Now getting from Stone 4 to Stone 5 has been an nightmare! lol

So off to Wi tonight for me - will be a big girl and take it on the chin and move on lol. Hoping for no more than a 1 lb gain!

Funds are low this week so will have to do some serious meal planning and only buy fruit & veg tonight.

Weighed in today, delighted to see 2.25lbs GONE! :j:beer:

Just desperate to get that first stone gone now and get on to the rest. Want to hurry up. WHY DIDNT I DO THIS AGES AGO?!?!

lantanna, its been interesting to read about how different each stone has been for you - I've got 7 stone to lose :( - and it feels at times like a mission, I expect after this stone for it to get harder. I can't understand how SW can keep working- with WW they reduce your points each stone, but not with SW, right? So how does the magic keep happening?
