Wow mass catch up on here due.. you lot can talk!

Mrslady - well done on the pub, how did the gym visit go?

Becks - well done for resisting cookies! You can enjoy your champers even more so as you've been so good..

Sugarhunny - how was your day? did you manage to keep away from the crisps?

Cherryscone - good luck for weighin tomorrow.. just try and have lots of wees tonight!!;)

Lindens - what do you have the choc drops with? are they just a snacky thing for when you fancy a bit of sugar?

Gingerfurball - I'd be careful if you're doing excess running to make sure you're getting enough calories. I think doing a marathon is above and beyond body magic :D Do you attend class? If so, 'd ask your consultant for some advice.

Leanne - do you have a recipe for the cauliflower pizza, I've tried to do it before but all I can taste is cauliflower (yyeeauuch) your recipe might be better.

Mildredd - little gain, don't worry, you've done really well so far.. bigger picture you're 3 stone 9.5lbs lighter than you were :T and @rse to the weigh in lady - you should have tutted right back at her!! Rude!!

I wanna save money - I have no idea of syns, sorry, I don't have access to the online thingie to look. I've haven't used it since doing SW so haven't had to syn it.. it can't be more syns than fetching a Chinese takeaway though!! :D

Frogga - good on ya :T sssshhh though..

Been bad again today :( really annoyed because i'd lost another 1.5lbs.. but I've been stuck in the house and bored!

So tomorrows socks are already pulled up and I will stick to plan
B - big pile of fruit, yogurt
L - spaghetti on toast (heb)
T - chicken and ham pie(cheese hea), filo pastry (syns?) Carrots, BNS

I need to cut down on my salt intake as I'm borderline hypertensive - anyone got any snack ideas that aren't crisps or fruit or don't have that much salt? I'm going to miss my crisps :(
    S - banana, satsuma

I actually wrote the recipe on my blog which you can view here. Me & my hubby both thoroughly enjoyed it :) x

    Good evening all.

Special hugs to mildredd - that helper's tut was uncalled for. You've obviously done so well.

    Review of Monday's plan
Breakfast - weetabix (hexb), ff yogurt, fruit
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad
Dinner - fish in cherry tomato sauce, bananas and low fat custard (2 Syns)
That leaves my hexa to be decided

Today went wrong, but only insofar as I discovered I didn't have the tuna I thought I had and I forgot to take the fish out of the freezer!

I had some hexa milk with my weetabix - should have known it would be too dry with yogurt. I had baked potato with beans at lunchtime ( no salad cos I don't like salad with beans), followed by an apple. For dinner I made a very tasty mixed pepper and tomato pasta with half a teaspoon of grated parmesan for 0.5 syns. To be honest that wasn't worth the bother sprinkling it on, but I had the satisfaction of thinking I wasn't missing out! (Still trying to counteract weekend's excesses).
I also had a chocolate digestive biscuit - 4 syns - and I'm going to have 2 cream crackers (3 syns), a laughing cow light triangle (1.5 syns) and tomatoes for supper Total - 11 syns

Tuesday's Plan (family all here for dinner)

Breakfast - cinnamon porridge hexb and banana with hexa milk
    Lunch - Batchelor's cheese & broccoli pasta
Dinner - beef pot roast, mashed potatoes & sprouts (2 syns), Eton Mess (3.5 syns)

I weigh tomorrow - fingers and toes are crossed.

Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.

    Dam Boots scales :(
3.5 loss and I'm actually a bit disappointed! I got a 3.5 gain last week so a straight loss of my gain. Sounds bonkers but I was hoping for more!!

I was the same last week, and was really fed up. All I kept reminding myself was that I knew I'd been 100% on plan, so it had to show up on the scales some time soon... sure enough it did, about 2 days later on my home scales. So my advice is stick with it, it will come good in the end. End Quote

This is so true - couldn't reiterate it more - happens to me all the time but it really does come good in the end!

Had a rubbish night last night - was feeling a bit sorry for myself and ending up having sweets and crisps. Anyway over and done with and just about within my daily syns - though I am so over for the week!!

I'd be happy with anything off this week - even 0.5lb as the week isn't going to plan so far.

Fingers crossed that its not a gain anyway.

    Mildredd? Back on track now?

    So today's menu

    B: 2 Kiwis & Muller Greek Style (0.5 syn)

L: Tuna, Pasta, Pepper & Sweetcorn (extra lite mayo 2 syns)
    2 X Baby Bel light - Hea

D: Gammon, McCain Baked Potato (1 Syn) Cauli, Broc & Carrots

Snacks : Grapes / seafood sticks

Know exactly what you mean! When I have a gain I want it straight off the next week and more lol

We just need to be patient. Congrats on the loss though - great loss and gives you an excellent starting point for next week! :)

Morning all. I am loving my new breakfast - chopped apple, muesli, cinnamon and Vanilla ML. But how stupid am I? for some reason i had it in my head it was 25g muesli as HEB - which TBH was pitiful. I checked again today and its 35g ;p i've been robbed!

Mildredd - sorry for the tutters - not called for really. don't let it get you down
shaala - moo - those chocolate drops are to pick on of an evening to stop me eating bad things. I'm a proper picker me!

well done to all the losers, and hugs to those struggling. sorry this thread moves too fast for me to make many comments

  • Was reporting in with my WI from last night, 3lbs. However on reading back through the posts and thanking some, I get the feeling that the comments about people asking about syns and then not thanking or contributing may be aimed somewhat at me amongst others. I shall therefore be leaving this thread, as now don't feel welcome.

    Morning all

2lb loss again this week for the challenge Very, very very pleased with that. I'm feel as if I'm on a bit of a roll!!

On the other hand, my other half, who's been good too has STS. I don't understand that, as he eats less than me (although perhaps he doesn't eat enough). He's still got the mindset that you 'should eat almost nothing all day and a meal in the evening. I don't know why? Anyway, I munch all the time and lose more, so hopefully he'll relax a bit this week.

    Good luck all!!
