I was the same last week, and was really fed up. All I kept reminding myself was that I knew I'd been 100% on plan, so it had to show up on the scales some time soon... sure enough it did, about 2 days later on my home scales. So my advice is stick with it, it will come good in the end.Thank you! I have big plans to ram it with tomatoes, celery, carrots, mushrooms, onions and peppers to SF it up as much as possible, not made a SW one before, my old one has bacon and a glass of red wine inI suppose if I trim the bacon and get 4 portions out of it, it wouldn't be too bad...
I love SW spagbol with all the extra superfrees in it. Why not have the bacon too, and if you want to even the wine, so long as you syn it. I love spag bol with cheese too, really enhances the flavour.
WI tonight, and relieved to report -3.5lb for the challenge please
After last week's disappointment, and having been on plan all week, even allowing for the meal out on Tuesday, I'm very happy with that.
Today's meal plan has been:
Extra Easy
B - Magic porridge HEB + apple
L - Shredded lamb, leeks, cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, peas.
Snack - Activia banana & caramel yogurt 0.5 syn
D - Baked potato, leftover superspeed casserole. Lighter Butter 1 syn, ketchup 1 syn. Pud: banana & activia yogurt 0.5 syn
HEA - milk in drinks
Total syns = 3
Denise, your meal plan earlier sounded lush... can I move in with you?
Just watching the program on TV now about being addicted to sugar.... this is looking interesting. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thanks for the input guys (I'm training for a marathon at the minute so my miles are only going to get bigger!!)
I made that macaroni cheese from the magazine and personally I thought it was mingling!! DH quite liked it (just as well. It'll be his lunch for a couple of days lol) I think if I'm going to have mac'n'cheese I'll just save up the syns and have the real thing!0 -
*grumpy grumble warning*
Sorry to those who are feeling neglected. I know I tend to post and reply to older members but its not personal? Its more of a people come and go and just ask people to look up syns or questions and not try to help others which truthfully annoys me. I think this thread should be a give and take balance... But that's just me being grumpy n getting fed up with one time posters asking and then never even saying thank you. I will make more effort to reply to posters. I like to be nosey and enjoy looking at food plans but when that's all some people post I can't guarantee ill reply to them
Thank you for the lovely words re my gain x I think I am over it now. I've reread the book and I'm getting back on it properly today. I've had a handful of cheese balls and a cheese twist thing and them gave my head a wobble and realised the answer wasnt in either of those nor the box of roses. So head wobbled and I'm over it.
However I am fuming that the 'helper' tutted at my weight gain and remarked that isn't like you!!! So what I've gained twice since I started 1lb total!!! Fume!!! How dare she really :@
Ill read back in a bit
Frogga -3 days keep going little froggy
Beanie - I am still hunting what I inboxed you I shall track it down :@
Catt? Where are you?
MrsMc- pizza sounds devine x my dd won't touch it though
Mich - fingers crossed for a loss for u
Hmbee - sorry u sts - stick with it though chin up and its only a week away and fingers crossed you'll have lost
Sary - woooo well doneworth the wait excellent loss
Becks - I think a lot of us are emotional eatersI tend to reward myself with treats which is wrong but it is a hard habit to break
Pooh bear - great loss! Well done
My food for today
Breakfast - half a muller light
Lunch - 1/2 batchelors pasta, 1/2 shredded chilli beef (0.5) mango pineapple grapes
Dinner - sw hotpot - pickled onions (couldn't face a sprout tonight lol)
Supper - ryvita minis apple clementine
Hexa - milk in a cuppa in a bit
Hexb - ryvita minis
Syns - handful of cheese balls , one cheese twist, 2 jelly sweets, dds left over dinner oops
And I thought I was lacking in syns today - for sake of my sanity I'm writing off the above syns and will just count my syns as
Chilli beef - 0.5
Sugar in tea -1
Sweets - 1.5 (same as wine gums logic)
So I think I deserve a little bag of choc tonight and then tomorrow no more sneaking stuff and dismissing itStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -

Thanks Sary and Denise! I try and stay syn free with my meals as I am a picker but I think I will buy a small bottle of red (dryathlon means I can't have leftovers) and use it between the four portions!
Just found myself hungry again so I made one potato worth of SW chips and had it with 8 asparagus stalks and 1.5 syns of Philadelphia lightest to dip both into and that's me done for the night apart from my Options before bed0 -
Wow mass catch up on here due.. you lot can talk!
Mrslady - well done on the pub, how did the gym visit go?
Becks - well done for resisting cookies! You can enjoy your champers even more so as you've been so good..
Sugarhunny - how was your day? did you manage to keep away from the crisps?
Cherryscone - good luck for weighin tomorrow.. just try and have lots of wees tonight!!;)
Lindens - what do you have the choc drops with? are they just a snacky thing for when you fancy a bit of sugar?
Gingerfurball - I'd be careful if you're doing excess running to make sure you're getting enough calories. I think doing a marathon is above and beyond body magicDo you attend class? If so, 'd ask your consultant for some advice.
Leanne - do you have a recipe for the cauliflower pizza, I've tried to do it before but all I can taste is cauliflower (yyeeauuch) your recipe might be better.
Mildredd - little gain, don't worry, you've done really well so far.. bigger picture you're 3 stone 9.5lbs lighter than you were :T and @rse to the weigh in lady - you should have tutted right back at her!! Rude!!
I wanna save money - I have no idea of syns, sorry, I don't have access to the online thingie to look. I've haven't used it since doing SW so haven't had to syn it.. it can't be more syns than fetching a Chinese takeaway though!!
Frogga - good on ya :T sssshhh though..
Been bad again todayreally annoyed because i'd lost another 1.5lbs.. but I've been stuck in the house and bored!
So tomorrows socks are already pulled up and I will stick to plan
B - big pile of fruit, yogurt
L - spaghetti on toast (heb)
T - chicken and ham pie(cheese hea), filo pastry (syns?) Carrots, BNS
S - carrot sticks, satsuma
I need to cut down on my salt intake as I'm borderline hypertensive - anyone got any snack ideas that aren't crisps or fruit or don't have that much salt? I'm going to miss my crispsMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I would hate people to feel neglected - it's certainly not deliberate on my part! I do try to read every post, as I think of this as the substitute for going to class (and at least no one is tutting at us. That would have really p***ed me off). I just don't always have time to scroll back and respond to everyone individually. Sorry!
Anyhoo - we've gone and joined a gym. It's a local authority one, and brand spanking new, so I imagine will be so busy that it'll drive me mad, but the important thing is we've joined. Actually the important thing will be GOING! It has a pool and I do love a swim!
Weigh in for us tomorrow. Is it me, or is this year going very quickly? 3 weeks in already!!
Have a good day tomorrow all - one day will lead to many!0 -
Thanks Shalamoo for asking - I was typing as you had already posted. Gym visit good - all joined up. (Didn't help that I forgot my glasses, so the poor lad doing the tour had to read everything to me. What an idiot I am!).0
