Well folks, I'm back from a lovely weekend away. I think I was quite well behaved as far as munching goes. I didn't deprive myself of anything I wanted, but I didn't do my usual and just go overboard as I was not writing everything down. I'm certain I was still well over my allowances. But I enjoyed it :)

    Monday's plan
Breakfast - weetabix (hexb), ff yogurt, fruit
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad
Dinner - fish in cherry tomato sauce, bananas and low fat custard (2 Syns)
That leaves my hexa to be decided

Keeping my fingers crossed I've not done too much damage. Please keep posting everyone. You are keeping me motivated.

    Size 14 jeans :o 14

Well done!! I've just about managed a few tops and dresses in size 14, but still haven't got there with my jeans.

A huge achievement in my mind. Be proud and don't beat yourself!!

Hello all, its been quieter then usual on here over the weekend. Hope everyone is ok.

I've had an ok-ish weekend. I find them so hard and definitely relax my diet brain.

I was fairly productive and made some more soup to take to work. So have my lunches sorted for the next 5 days.

My proud of moment was helping my 2 DD's to bake cookies, they had a blast and ate them all up over the course of the weekend. They smelt divine, but I resisted and ignored them. :j Yay for me!!

I'm excited for food for the next few nights, I have done my first Ocado online shop and I have that coming tomorrow night. I qualify for a free bottle of bubbly, so have made this my treat for when I get under 13 stone (will be a few months but its nice to have a goal). I also got £10.50 off with quidco and free delivery so have spent around £35 on this weeks shopping!

Did another Josie workout session again last night, and this time I don't ache. So hopefully it is still working but getting easier. I take my measurements on Thursday so we will see if it is working.

    Evening gang,

Mildredd - hurrah! That's my current big target, to get in size 14 jeans again (I have a few gathering dust). Well done, you must be thrilled!

Well done on being another angel Beanie, although we already knew that anyway :D

Another day on plan here, and feeling positive, ready for tomorrow's WI.

    Today's Food Plan:
    Extra Easy

B - Porridge HeB + 25g extra porridge 4.5 syns, milk HeA (no sugar today, just Stevia and it wasn't so bad)
L - Salad from Morrisons salad bar incl: cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, couscous, tabbouleh (2 syns), 3 x 1cm pieces of feta 2 syns, carrot, peppers. Dressing 2 syns. Chicken slices.
D - Slow roasted lamb, sw roast potatoes, cabbage, leeks, carrots, sweetcorn, peas. Gravy 3 syns
    Total Syns: 13.5

I've tried to count the syns realistically, and possibly erring on the side of caution over-estimating, but I think that's preferable.

I can truly say the salad from Morrisons was far nicer than a McDonald's big mac any day. Truly delicious, and SO filling. It was also eaten while we were out shopping today, so as a 'to go' food, I think it was brilliant. We just bought a packet of sliced chicken to go with it. OH had all the pasta salads, potato salad, coleslaw, but by choosing more wisely, mine was equally tasty I think.

Tomorrow I am going to ensure I drink plenty, and avoid high-carb foods before I go to WI. I made the mistake of having a large portion of porridge, followed by a whole pack of rice during the day before my WI last week. No wonder I gained 1/2lb!

Good luck to anyone facing WI tomorrow. Hope you've all had a good weekend.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
  • Urban cookie, Jaffa Cakes are 2.5 syns each.

Terry's chocolate orange are 2.5 syns per segment!!

I've not had too bad a day considering it was my youngest's 4th birthday. We had a party at a softplay centre so no party food to pick on, though I did pinch a couple of chips! I had saved my syns this week to have a slab of birthday cake but I found it too sweet!! Amazing how quickly your tastes change when you stick to SW!

Working week starts tomorrow, WI on Tuesday. Oh what a lot to look forward to. Could really do with a 3-day weekend!!

Been to the pub, and had diet coke, sparkling water with a dash of lime, and a cup of tea! Last of the big drinkers, me.

Wishing everyone a good day on plan tomorrow.
  • ell, my birthday weekend has seen me come off plan for 2days. Consumed far too much alcohol as well as a greasy breakfast on Saturday and a take out curry this evening to curb the hangover. :'(. Had a wicked birthday though so just going to get back on it now.
Weigh in is tomorrow. I'm going to stick to plan all week and see if I can do some damage limitation :-) good luck to everyone with weigh ins tomorrow :-) xxx
  • I've been AWOL thus last week as I totally fell off plan but picking myself back up and starting fresh today. I need to try and remember why I am doing this and making small changes will enable me to achieve my goals.

    Today is going to be:

    Cereal and milk
    Homemade soup
Steak and SW chips tonight with LOADSof veg.

What does everyone do to remain on track when your head has already mentally ate its way through all the crisps in the house? :-/
