bought some slim fast choc caramel bars on amazon, enjoying them for a choccy fix when needed.. only 4 1/2 syns and feel way more substantial as a treat than an alpen.. £5.52 for 24 so miles cheaper than hi-fi's too http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00APJZYE8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That is a great bargain and great syns! Any idea if the Heavenly Chocolate has the same Syn value?

Well done on the losses everyone :T

Well I have actually had some lunch ... WW salmon and broccoli potato melt (4.5syns). I would rather not be using ready meal BUT for now I can see it being the only way I will get something for lunch everyday... I just either seem to get caught up doing something or really can't see anything I fancy :(. SO whilst Tesco have the frozen WW ones on at £1 each Im going to get some in -they only seem to range from 4 - 5.5syns so its also an easy way for me to make sure I use some syns -
I work better when I go cold turkey on things.... let's be honest if I could do "moderation" then I wouldn't be fat would I !!! :rotfl: -so I tend to try and use syns on food/ingredients rather than "goodies" like choc and crisps.... Last time when I lost all the weight I went so long without chocolate that I couldn't even go near the choc section in the supermarket as the smell lade me felt sick -now if I can just get back to that again I will be laughing...

I have so many incentives to get this fat suit off again... I WILL GET THERE -I will... Apart from wanting to be healthy so I can run around with Charlie (heck I can't do anything about being an older mum)but I can do something about not looking and feeling like an older mum :o. Then of course there are all my clothes -When I was in Germany I got down from a 32-34:o -to a 14/16 ...so I have some beautiful clothes and on top of that just before I found out we were expecting Charlie I had ordered loads more clothes in the sales (12/14) and had them delivered to my mums as we were packing up to move back so I now have a double wardrobe of 12/14 clothes at my mums ALL still in there bags :(

ooh Im rattling again... better shut up and go and play with my little monkeypants:p
    Hope everyone is well.....

Thanks joedenise, wasn't aware of that - I'll go and check what I had. They were frozen. Hmm they are 1 syn each, so need to reevaluate my "virtue" ;) That makes yesterday 11.5 syns and starting out with a baseline of 4 planned syns today instead of 2. Jings, there is so much to look out for. Don't particularly enjoy quorn sausages, but when I thought they were free, they tasted better lol. I'll need to watch what I'm buying or just do without in future.

Not sure if you eat meat but if you do Sainsbugs BGTY Cumberland sausages are only 0.5 syns each - much lower than most. The Linda McC rosemary and red onion sausages are Free, personally I don't like the texture of them but a lot of people do, certainly worth a try.

I love Linda M Sausages but only discovered them a few weeks ago - so suspect I'll get sick of them soon! Was reading in a magazine last night - Amanda Holden lives on them and she looks fab!!

    Slim-Fast, 3-2-1- Plan Chocolate Peanut Snack Bar, 26g bar - 5 syns
