They've changed the light choices range.. Now called healthy living, packaging is different.. Confused me when looking for sausages this week.. I wonder if the syns will be the same? Must check it out!

Edit: they are still 1 syn each

Think they probably increased to 1 syn when they changed the packages and renamed them healthy living!

    Yes, 1.5 syns.

    Re the syning things on EE from Green/Red;

If it's Free on Green or Red, it's free on EE.
If it's 2 syns on Green and 22 syns on Red, then count 2 syns on EE (lower value always used for EE).
If it's only syns on Green because it contains meat, or it's only syns on Red because it contains potato/pasta/rice, then it is free on EE (assuming you are sure everything else in the recipe is free food).

Fortunately not. They're still the same price (at the moment!)

What's your favourite low/no syn treat?

I like the 'baked egg custard' Syn free recipe, served cold with berries.

    Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
1 Muller light vanilla or custard
a few drops of vanilla essence
    2 tsp sweetener (to taste)
    Nutmeg

Combine all ingredients and oven cook in ramekin dishes in a bain marie for 20-30 mins on a low heat (160/gas 4 ish. They will puff up and look massive. When you take them out to cool though they deflate.

I also mix a Toffee or Caramel Options sachet (1.5 syns) with a bit of boiling water to make a paste and then coat slices of banana in it. Put on a plate covered in greaseproof paper and into the freezer to set. It's like old fashioned banoffee toffee. It also works using the chocolatey flavours of Options and hulled strawberries or grapes. You have to eat them from the freezer though, you can't take them anywhere with you or they turn to mush.

That sounds fab, thank you. I'm giving SW Haribo a go this week but I might just try these next :)

Sounds lovely, I can't eat meringue though, makes my mouth claggy (might be a Northern thing!)

Sure others will use it anyway :)
